Not metal, hardcore (specifically metallic hardcore with a bit of beatdown). I hear zero metal here. Maybe a little metalcore, but that also starts from a hardcore foundation, not metal.

@@TenzyDesigns I mean, depends what kind of metalcore you're referring to. The OG metallic hardcore is closer to punk than it is to metal. The modern melodic metalcore, on the other hand, bares hardly any resemblance to punk anymore and it's just over-glorified djent lol

​@@resurgam44 metal riffs, wall of sound isn't usually the go to for actual hardcore, like listen to the gospel by Knocked Loose (quintessential beatdown hardcore) then listen to slaughterhouse 2 there's more metal in it now but it still has the bounce and groove to get you dancing which gives hardcore the hardcore feel. You should be able to either full on mosh or even move like you're at a hip hop show from hardcore it's gotta have that bounce which is what solidifies the knocked loose hardcore base. But it's probably safe to say it's got metal influences
