One question, someone once explained to me that the "pop" was related to the glue being "crystalline" and when the glue starts to age the board get rubbery. Does relaminating the wood produce a good pop? When you tap the boards on the table they have that nice sharp "yeah, I got pop" sound.

Nice work . Sanding off all the paint and decals for such an extended time is not great . You potentially leave yourself open to possibility getting Vibration White Finger . You can protect yourself by limiting the amount of time you expose yourself to the risks . Also have a look at getting yourself a pair of Anti Vibration Gloves .

I bought this as a gift for my friend kzbin.infoUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG who is just starting out in the world of wood work. He loves it!! There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.

Hey there, I know this is such a random comment, but, you were talking about your neck/arms hurting after sanding... I know you said you don't like ppl telling you what to do, but, I'm just saying this so you don't end up with really bad RSL/Raynards later on in life: You should wear some form of shock absorbing gloves when using your sander/tools that have strong vibrations. The best type are usually the heavy duty ones with shock absorbing gel pads in them - like the kind cyclists/sportspeople use. Just saying because I don't like seeing ppl suffer. Remember, your arms are the most valuable tool you have in your industry and you need to take care of them.

A bit hypocritical isn't it to tell people not to tell you what to do but then try and tell people what to do 😂 cool video though. And another thing, some people don't understand the work put into certain jobs, and in a job like this its understandable why the prices are higher. Especially if you count the cost of training, equipment and tools, supplies and everything else it all adds up. Just as a note, the stuff he has got in his shop is easily worth 10,000 alone... Not including materials he uses for videos and other expenses I can imagine.

Not telling you what to do, but consider using a template router bit next time. You'll get more accurate, faster results turning an uncut board into the template design. Gluing up broken/cut wood to create a solid piece is actually stronger than the original solid piece = your boards are stronger than the broken ones they were created from if the wood was well bonded.
