wonderful seeing my fav singers again. Valerie Masterson I saw many, many times in the G &S for All productions when visiting Worthing, where I lived many years ago. I'm now in S Africa for 45 years but have all my LP's and videos / DVDs of the operas. Lovely times. I miss them.

The first time I watched patience was 2009 and I was DYING. In my mind's eye, now and forever Bunthorn is THE hipster

I grew up listening to their operas. My father loved them, and by the time I was in high school, knew 2/3rds of their entire output. This lead to my first play about them “The Inventors of the Musical.” Ironically I never got to be in the whole series except when the Chicago G& S Series cast me as Colonel Caverly in “Patience.” Now I know them all and love them all. No other English author had as much fun with the English language than W.S.Gilbert.
