Beautiful landscape they have to work on corruption,crime (senseless killings) particular by gun fire with which are smuggled from South Africa,emphasis on human development,of the population of just over 2 million just over a million resides in South Africa to eek a living,the Phumaphi commission of enquiry recommendations which encompasses among others constitutional review has not been passed by now.the inhabitants are active farmers but the government does not see it as as to be one of the Country's economic boosters for the Country which earns earns primarily from Taxes and diamonds of which a 70% share is held by a private investor,the country has to fight for better a 50/50 deal or majority shareholder in this regard,the other thing I saw foreigners being permitted to run even general dealers and tailoring shops which should be reserved for Citizens.I also noticed high health TB and HIV related conditions of which majority are Males in the rural parts of the Country although there are regular testing and treatment campaigns by International NGO's of the American origin.I worked there for 7 years..Botswana Citizen.
