I mostly agreed with him until the part about “if you put us in front of the white man he sees us as Black so we are Black” which I think is disturbing. Do Asians think of themselves as yellow because White people see them as yellow and called them yellow?
@zyberworld3 жыл бұрын
@@ameetachi9510 I think you misunderstood and it's all good. The caveat was that all skin-folk ain't kinfolk if you've heard that saying. Instead of attacking each other we need to realize at the end of the day we're all we got. The average Chinese doesn't know Wode Maya the business man. What he sees is the western version of a 'black person' whatever that may be and it's mostly negative. I'm not denying there's our own people in power keeping us down on behalf of WS but we need to be wise and peep game. For example: If an African decides go into debt getting a western education don't be mad or hostile. That's their journey. Educate them and if they still refuse the wisdom so be it. Peace
@ameetachi95103 жыл бұрын
@@zyberworld Thanks. I agree that the perception of Black people worldwide are mostly based on the lenses of Western media but the solution is for us to START TELLING OUR OWN STORIES in a more true to life light. Remember it was like that with the Asians in the past too when Western media controlled their narratives as well. The rest of the world saw them from that stereotypical lens but then they took control of their narrative. We know and understand them better not because they accepted those stereotypes but because they showed the world what they are truly about. I think one problem with the Black race is that more often than not we embrace the stereotypes from the White man. The white man says we are gangsters and we make songs glorify gang culture. He says we are all drug heads and look at that all our songs promote drug use. We are the only race that does this. We let the White man control our narrative and then complain that the world sees us from that lens. I guess it circles back to the topic of Africans having an identity crisis. If we knew who we are we wouldn’t be so easily manipulated by other groups.

Whereas black Americans were delegated to entertainment. And now we're waking up to true worth and not falling for the traps. Some are too far gone but unfortunately I've realized for a while now you can't save everybody. It's not possible. Some people don't want to be 'saved'. Am not that type of person who just listens to one side and start chastising the otherside without listening to that side too. The fact that you think you can't do it doesn't mean others can't. Some people are good at conning girls, some people are also good at business. Discover the field you are good at and laser focus on that and you will change the world. Same way you think he is a criminal, same way people will think you are a criminal too but then it's not your fault, you are just simply good at it and want to impact the world with it. If it's left with people like you with such a mindset, people will still be riding horses with no existence of automobiles. Adwen no ewu, no creativity...thank you

They attacked Italy from their village. But in west Africa as soon as they captured Ghana. It is the same Ghanaian that helps them to capture other African. This is problem of Africa. 5 thousands European captured Africa. This make me feel so ashamed, African can never fight for freedom rather they will be speaking big English in front of camera. They want to be like African nationalist that never fight for freedom of Africa. No African ever fight for genuine freedom except Thomas shankara and col odimegwu ojukwu. Independence was given to them freely yet they are not free. It is after 2nd world War that America asks European to leave Africa. But they signed treaty with America that they should allow them to have same influence on their colony. No African fight for freedom.if they fight for freedom why are they not yet freedom. What this young Gambia boy is doing is capitalist on ignorance of African public. When Isreal wants to fight for freedom they fight British with Dynamite, when Vietnam wants to fight for freedom they fought America Gorilla war. When British want to fight for freedom they cut the head of king Charles the first and the place is House of Commons. When France wants to fight for freedom they kill their king. But in Africa they will keep speaking good English like speaking English make you wise. Go to England mad man speak good English. Africa don't have mental toughness to fight for freedom. They always complain, how many times ousman experience attacks from those he is fighting. To them he is noise maker. If African are not ready to fight neocolonialist with weapons and ammunition. They are not ready. Chez cavala went to Congo to fight with them. @@tlfa5554 This is the Wrong way to think bro! AFRICA IS THE SOURCE. AFRICA IS THE HOMELAND! Black americans should be copying African culture! We live in the west!! Why should should africans copy us it's foolish. Africans HAVE thier pwn language, their own culture, thier history, their own gods. Black Americans have nothing but hip-hop and slavery. We still want to be like white people here because we don't know we're are Africans in truth! DO NOT COPY US. We should be copying Africans!! Africans must be proud of thier own Cultures and Prioritize thier own Homegrown culture! It's SIMPLE. Accept being an African. Love being AFRICAN.

@@MonDieuMaCauseMonEpee -He didn’t diminish his own culture to lift up western culture. He merely stated, their were things about the western culture he found to be valuable, especially if Americans of African descent reunite with one another. The entire premise is building with one another for a stronger, more unified people.

I think that you are missing his point. Damn near everything that the world admires about America is Black culture. Our music, style, food, way of speaking has influenced the entire world. American culture, leaving out white supremacy, is Black American or ADOS created.
