Since you're viet, I'll re-post my experience living as a viet in Canada here. As a vietnamese, I hope asians(east/south east) can destroy the bad image of asians made by western media (evil, cold calculator, unwanted). Even tho I'm not chinese, during the pandemic I knew I was going to be subject of racism due to east and south east asians looking phenotypically alike. Western media has been portraying asians(mostly males) in negative way since the chinese exclusion act. You can search on Sessue Hayakawa, the first Hollywoof hearttrob that was supposed to portray asian males in a bad way but it backfired amongst american female at the time due to his good looks. He was always playing a negative, bad guy, a predator who never gets girl and gets defeated by the good western man. Similarly, Jacky Chan also never get the girls in the movies, one time, the ending of one of his movies changed because they didn't want to see him kiss the girl, so they changed it for a hug 💀. And contrary to the treatment received by asian males being portrayed as villain, bad guy or nerdy loser, Hollywood was 100% fine portraying white american guy's easily getting asian girls. Personally I don't mind. I live in Canada and I've been asked to date by white girls (french, ukrainian,..) and some arabic girls but I'm into asian girls(there's none in my area that I'm interested) so I dont mind if other ethnicity like asian guy's or not, but just let it free for all pls. I'm just getting sick of the media's agenda of portraying certain ppl a certain way, is this a new attempt of ethnic cleansing? Also one of the first chinese ppl that established in the US didn't go well for them in 1885, they got brutally murdered by white ppl for "stealing" their job. When asian companies are doing good in economy for following the same pattern of capitalism (like japan dominating in car industry) it's a threat. Also I learn about propaganda against asian males due to a conversation I've had with a white jerk who used to be my friend. I saw some racist claims online about not dating asian girls because they ALL do plastic surgery and are ugly. I find this wrong and told to my white friend and instead of being supportive he start trash talking asian guy's saying we sub-humans and that white guy's and asian girls are meant for each other. He added that I don't have to feel targeted since I'm among small % of good looking asian guy's. But doesn't change the fact he insulted all males of my ethnicity and also pretty sure he just wanted to gaslight me since there's many better good looking asian guy's out there, even in my college.

Third, the Europeans are being dictated to by the US and their corrupt governments too and don't like it and don't like how they're being dragged into worldwide issues. @@zippkush9887 Thanks to the US, we had a 7 year junta, where a lot of Greeks either killed or suffered because of torturing. I dont know how, however, the results of the elections in Greece are always altered/influenced by the US. The fact that Condoleezza Rice visited Greece in 2006 was because of Greece's opening to Russia then, and the discussions about the name of Skopje. USA wanted the area of Skopje to be under their influence, so they supported the change of its name to Northern Macedonia. Macedonia is a Greek are for thousands of years, so we did not want Skopje to have this name. Thanks to USA pressures, they got it. Condoleezza Rice came to Greece in 2006 to persuade our prime minister not to ally with Russia. No body wanted her in Athens, then and there were clashes of thousands of protestors with the police. The Civil War in Greece was a result of USA and Britain, they caused it. And that was done because they did not want Greece to ally with USSR. The attack of Turkey to Northern Cyprus was a result of a pre meditated plan, and that was because of the US. Do you think that NATO and the US, helped Cyprus and Greece in 1974 to prevent the attack? (Greece was and is a member of NATO). Nooooooo.....With all respect those are some of the reasons. If you do a survey in Greece about the most hated country, you will receive the reply: USA, from at least 70% of the population.

The root of Western civilization, "Monotheism", is characterized by double standards. During the period of ancient Roman city-state civilization, monotheism was used to distinguish "believers" from "pagans", thus forming a national system and building a Western society. For example, in the middle world, if you don’t believe in God, no matter if you are white or black, whether you are a commoner with high morals or a robber who commits all kinds of crimes, you are not considered a “human being” in the West at that time, and any believer is Can kill you and rob you of your wealth without breaking the law. So that's the basis of Western slavery. At that time, if you were a "pagan" you were a slave, you were not allowed to own property, all your labor output was occupied by "believers", and "believers" could freely exchange and distribute these slaves huge wealth generated. (Note: 90% of the city-state population in ancient Rome were slaves, and less than 10% of the real civilians) In the so-called "Renaissance" in the West, the religious power of the Renaissance began to decline, and the bourgeoisie and the powerful began to take power. These new power holders need a new set of "monotheistic" rhetoric to package their bloody and barbaric or profitable means. "Theory of Civilization" was born The West under this system of discourse is "civilized", while the non-"West" is all barbarians. "We civilized people enslave you to bring you civilization." This is what the West wanted to say at the time. It was actually nothing more than triangular trade slavery, and the massacre of Indians, and the sale of opium to China. So the "Renaissance" of the "Western Renaissance". What exactly was revived? It turned out to be slavery in ancient Rome. And now, has anything changed in the West? It's just an upgrade of that set of rhetoric, from civilization to "democracy and freedom." Still the original recipe, the original taste. Democratic and free countries can reasonably and legally invade "non-democratic and free countries", kill their people, and rob their oil. This is how this civilization survives, it has been, it is, and it will be in the future. For the past 50 years we have been deluded by the West's masquerading with dirty and bloody money. Now is the time to wake up.

@Nincom ...what we care about is development and progress...and truth be told we don't have some of the capabilities and finances needed to build some of these infrastructure... and so instead of staying in the dark let us partner with whomever is willing to build ourselves from the ground up. On human rights record the west has a much worse record, not within its borders but in foreign and sovereign nations, so we don't care about that, even the west has its own share...at least for China they are putting in investment where its needed and it can be seen from our GDP and infrastructure growth
