Okay, I won’t lie, at first I wasn’t really excited about this because the topic didn’t speak to me in particular. Now that I’ve watched it, I can say for sure it was far from being bad. It was nice, really nice. The use of tropes like the broken family giving birth to a talent struggling to find its place in the world or the luck in the agent listening to him itself is not a sin. You managed to create a coherent and sentimental story out of it. I would say that the pacing doesn’t give it justice. Of course, it is a KZbin video, it would be extremely difficult to put multidimensional characters, elaborate on motives or building the ending while keeping people from clicking away judging the video takes too long. In the end, for me at least, it doesn’t matter that much. You shared a fantastic message - and who knows, maybe ignited a rap passion is some - in what clearly took you a lot of effort to make. Wishing you the best my man. It might be just dust now but you have gold in your hands.
