I’ve been boycotting Disney since before it was cool. I literally said after the sale to Disney was announced that they were going to screw up Star Wars. I saw TFA because my ex wife wanted to see it. I wrote a review of it that was removed from Rotten Tomatoes because I was “review bombing”, which was interesting because my review was more original than the damn movie. I made one brief attempt to watch Mandalorian. I realized it wasn’t good, it was just slightly better than the other shit Disney had grunted out. I made it three episodes, and I was watching it about the same time they fired Gina, so that was it. I’ve refused to pay for anything Disney since. I consider nothing with their logo to be canon in Star Wars and I don’t give a shit what happens to it any more. And Lesley and Amandla can kiss my ass. I will not be silenced by those fools.

I had the pleasure and privilege of seeing the original Star Wars trilogy in the theaters as a child. I am a woman, and words could not ever convey how much I loved those movies. I would run around in the forest with a stick as a light saber and battle the Dark Side. Whenever I rode my bicycle as fast as I could, it was an X-Wing Fighter. Never once did the concept of DEI cross my mind; it is irrelevant. The movies are brilliant. I felt included because anyone could be anything if they truly committed themselves to their goals. Race and gender do not apply because we are dealing with alternate species. Who cares about their identity and reproductive systems? I certainly do not want to know and could not care less. I am not sure humans could ever be more diverse than alternate planeterial species. Those movies provided me with such inspiration and the most wonderful memories. I love how these young 'actors' insist that fans do not understand the source material. B*tch, I saw it in the theaters before you were even a concept. Do not tell me I do not understand the material. I had the books, figurines, the original Return of the Jedi cards with the stickers. I loved that world. These "actors" have no concept of anything, and their attempt at influence is sad.
