I think this generation doesn’t understand the heartache that 9/11 brought on. I was in high school when it happened and it has literally had a major impact on my generation. About 3,000 people died that day and many more in the aftermath. Now a lot of us feel like so many of us were lied to and died for that lie. But we still condemn terrorism. When I went to Atlanta, I had an amazing dinner at a hotel's restaurant and met the sweetest waiter ever. He was in his mid-twenties and barely mentioned how much he made per day, and I have to say it's a shame waiters are treated like that, specially those who clearly do a great job and make a huge effort to treat customers like royalty. He was also advising us not to walk down certain streets at night and said "I wouldn't want my sister to be there on her own". I still remember that because it was so sweet. Hi Blair and everyone. I really hope you read this. I’m 16 and I don’t live in America, but my English teacher is American. One day she decided to teach us about gender and sex. She talked about non-binary, agender, transgender, cisgender and more. Then she talked about a article an that was about parents that decided to raise their babies without a gender. I remember thinking everything she said was valid. I used to support the LGBTQIA+ community. I used to think fucking neopronouns are valid. Then, I found your channel. I realized not everyone in the community thinks the same. I always knew they were crazy people, I just felt like if I said something against it I was homophobic and was a bad person. I remember hearing about the jk Rowling incident and thinking she’s a terrible person because she said that trans people shouldn’t exist. (that’s what I thought transphobia was) Turns out that is not what she said. She said something completely normal. I was so affected by this community. I had a whole argument about this with my family. It ended with me calling everyone transphobic. Now. I realize they were right. Thank you so much Blair for making your KZbin channel. Now I understand things a lot more. And I don’t support a community of idiots 😂

I also have a story, which ended in me having to delete my KZbin account, I use to support a trans woman KZbinr I basically grew up with. I used to be such a big fan, I was very recognizable in the community, but as soon as I found out of de trans, and trans people who were not afraid to admit that they know or thought they knew were the opposite sex, along with other stuff. I used they/them for the KZbinr I watched they wanted me to use female pronouns, and said they are a woman, and I respectfully disagreed, and stated my reasonings, along with fears, which I brought up de trans, and my religion but I didn't want my religion to be in the way of how I viewed others. And they called me transphobic, I got upset, I didn't mean any harm, and they made a video convincing 100k+ people, which I got backlash, etc. they said I was spreading transphobia (when that "transphobia" was me literally sharing the same incident they mentioned/showed in their expose video of me) they said that I lied about being called transphobic, yet the reply they gave me before I deleted my account was them calling me transphobic and saying trans people exist which i knew i watched them for a good four to five years, and they gave me constant paragraphs of whatever they said which i forgot they did say they were story that i was raised wrong and i need to learn biology, along with other stuff said. I told them trans woman are not woman but they are trans woman (somewhere along those lines) and I even still watched their videos days later and also commented and they still lied and said I wasn't ok? When they even responded to one of my comments after the day they got upset with what I said. They are a problematic KZbinr but I kept saying "they'll change" but they never have. I showed and told a friend of mine what happened and they were smart enough to know that people can still be friends with differences. I have more to say but this is enough from me. Sorry if this sounded like a rant.

I was 22 during the 9/11 attack, and remember it vividly. It was a real event in my life, and I can recall that day 100%, and it is still fresh to me how our nation responded and the how it all changed that day. I find that Gen Z, who were born years after that simply don't grasp the magnitude of that day and it is just some random day in history to them. The issue is that schools aren't teaching about it with the emphasis and depth they should be. MOST Z's I've had conversations with, act as though it is annoying for them to even hear about it, and they simply are indifferent to it. Their only concerns in life are LGBT stuff, and pushing the "non-binary" and "pronoun" narrative, treating that as if that is the only issue that exists, and only subject that matters in the world. It is impossible to have a conversation with them, because there is an overall priggish, arrogant, and know-it-all attitude, and instant defensiveness if you dare try to educate or correct them. They are utterly unteachable, and emotionally immature, which has nothing to do with them being young, it is entirely about the mentality of their generation rooted in their Main Character Syndrome, self-centric nonsense, turning mental illness and being trans into a fashion statement and social construct. They truly think only they matter, and nothing that ever happened before they were born holds weight at all. And I realize not ALL Z's are this way, but it is a critical mass to the point our future looks dark and hopeless, because it is a generation that lacks a soul or conscious, with the covert narcissism to match.

Kids born around that time or after that time don’t get the magnitude of sadness that happened that day and the time that followed. I went to the 9/11 museum with my nieces that were born just a few days after (9/13) and they were taking selfies with peace signs and fish lips etc so I got curious. I went on IG and looked up the hashtag and it’s all over IG of people taking selfies where these tragedies have happened and posted like for clout? I don’t get it. It’s as bad as the people doing yoga at Auschwitz. There’s like zero respect.

I really like the way you addressed the girl who was having trouble with the work experience. I initially had the reaction like "yep, that's life" - but you're absolutely right, this society has set us up for failure, with the way we value "work work work work" and we end up feeling like giving The best and strongest years of our lives away to some company is just normal. The girl is right, working 9-5 with the commute leaves you with nothing else to give. You just have to get a good night sleep so you can do it again tomorrow. I wish i had someone tell me that there was a better way growing up, but my parents just drilled me with that "work work work" mindset, and anything else was "unrealistic". On the topic of simple bitches, if Blair was actually nUaNcEd she may have responded with encouraging literature that is actually more important to Palestinian liberation than just speaking yappanese for half an hour about how she hates WoKeNeSs. She’s barely 1% better than Shapiro which is the only reason she’s able to roll her eyes at him. I say this because I’ve seen her video throwing around passages from the Qu’ran about why it’s evil so I can only imagine her finding it funny that people are finally beginning to study the Qu’ran so they can debunk the lies and finally welcome and embrace their culture and religion which is the most beautiful form of activism and this generation deserves more credit than the queen of a self hating cherry picker.

It was awful! Her background (nice enough couch) does look like maybe she COULD afford to live somewhere closer if she accepted a pretty barebones flat share- the thing is, if you're commuting that much, you DON'T have time for a life, and if you have a life anyway, you aren't really hanging around your home that much, so it doesn't need to be anything but reasonably clean and safe. Especially that early 20's lifestyle, I was NEVER home, so there wasn't much point paying for anything but a place to sleep and store my stuff.

The part that really made me cringe was seeing how some of them actually think Osama was talking about fighting the patriarchy when he saids the US dosen't respect women. No, he and the Taliban wanted somthing more similar to the handmaid's tale. Their idea of respect for women included keeping women from going to school or getting a job. Where women can never leave the house or even show their face in public. Where r*pe victims can be stone to death and homosexuality is a crime punishable by death. Osama may of condem the use of porn or sexaulizing women in media but he and the Taliban were fine with girls as young as 9 years old being forced to marry men old enough to be their grandpa. He wanted you to be one of multiple wives for cave dwelling men who think of you as property and would beat if you didn't listen to him. That his and the Taliban ideas female liberation.

Fun fact. In the Quran there is no age limit to when a man can marry a girl. You can marry a literal infant. You have to look to hadiths to get a limitation and even then..... Not much limits. The Quran also clearly states how long a PREPUBESCENT girl needs to wait until she can be REmarried off.... Married again. If a man wants to divorce he simply says divorce three times and it's done. A chick can be refused by imams, elders, parents, and of course husband. But of course none of the pro Muslim westerners know a fucking thing about that fucked up religion/cult.

I have so much empathy for the girl in that video because I had to drop out of school to work full time just to survive and it is jarring trying to get adjusted to how little free time you have. I can't stand the toxic people who are smug for some reason. Like it reminds me of my dad justifying abusing me by pointing out that his parents abused him. Like why don't these people want better for the next generation?

I watched 911 live on TV. It was shocking to watch when I saw the building literally explode from the bottom up. Did not make since. I grew up watching That's Incredible they showed how in NY they would demolition building without damaging other building right next to them. Red flag. Not to mention our airforce is so bad ass that no airplane can go off course without them knowing!!!!! Common sense!

Banning TikTok because you disagree with the politics of the people using it would be a violation of free speech.

After university in my first job I had a 4 hours total commute daily+9 hours at work (loved that job though). The problem is your education system, it doesn’t prepare these kids for the real world, they go from a marxist utopia (college) to the workforce.
@CrankyBarista

@@minime7375thats why getting small jobs when you're young is important. Im gen x... we had paper routs/babysitting at 10-12 yo, then we would get an after school job in JR high, then part time job in high school/college. That way, by the time we graduated college, we knew the working world and what it entails.

@@CrankyBarista I’m not American, it’s not the culture to have kids doing those small jobs like babysitting, the “babysitters” are usually the grandparents. I’m not sure it’s even legal to work if you’re under 16, when I was growing up it wasn’t. But we go to school to actually learn, not be lectured on gender theory, marxism and critical race theory.🙂 The problems for these kids start in school and it’s your education system (post highschool especially) that produces such poorly adjusted adults. Look at how well Asian students and young professionals do, it’s not like they are born smarter than others, they come from cultures that highly value education and competition, not mediocrity and participation trophies.

@@CrankyBarista In my state you have to be 14 to legally work and make money on the books. I’m almost done with high school but I wouldn’t say my part time summer job is gonna be anywhere close to a 9-5 that I’ll have in my future. I also think the expectation to have 10 year olds working and making money is a big responsibility even if it’s only a few hours a week.

The girl who's started working after college, it's easy to feel bad for her if you have any sympathy. She's new to the "real world" as people call it, and she's trying to figure things out. It sucks that this is what people have to deal with, dealing with people that literally do not care about you at all and try their hardest to make you feel like absolute trash, and it's okay to break down. It's human. Anyone who puts you down because you're *new* to working are not worth your time.

It's a lot more exhausting starting a new job than just working a normal day. Because you are trying to learn a lot of new systems, meet new people and worry about fitting in which all makes the days seem much more tiring than normal for the first week or two

I feel sorry for the young girl that is having a hard time with her first job. And I felt the same way 10 years ago. My working day was from 7.30 am to 9.30 pm, had no time for anything except for shower and makeup (because I was insecure and objectively looked like sh*t from lack of sleep and sh*tty eating habits). But then I learned how to say no to overtime work and how manage my workload. All comes with time. Then my experience and credentials I earned allowed me to be selective with jobs and eventually start working for myself. So to anyone struggling with rat race: this is not forever, it will get better. Work towards your goal, keep learning and get the most you can from your 9-5 job and soon you will get the opportunity to change everything. Just don’t forget to eat regularly, take an extra step to cook nice meals. The way I f-ed up my health back then is something I have to deal with now in my 30s.

My first "real" job (over 18) was at the local hospital as a nursing assistant. They were adamant about covering tattoos, no piercings other than ears, no wild hair color. You either understood the requirements of the dress code or you didn't work there....period. Today- no one gives a fuck about anything. ANYTHING. Tattoos, wild hair colors, new claimed sexuality's coming up daily.... we have officially hit dumpster fire level. I quit lol
