Another awesome Wolbrook review! That handset is absolutely bonkers. Sub-dials included. I wonder why more companies don't go with the Seiko VK61 mecaquartz over the VK64. Hemel has one. The 61 has a running seconds subdial at 6 & a 60 minute totalizer subdial at 12. The 64 is slaved to the utterly pointless 24 hr indicator at 3, and lacks a running seconds. Semantics, I know. It still looks cool though! You've now introduced me to 2 quartz watches that are definitely on my to buy list: A Wolbrook & a Newmark '52 (black/gilt obviously). Great review man!

Good point, I think maybe they think the lack off running second takes away any indication it's quartz? Which doesn't bother me, I'm pro quartz!

@@ChillinwitWatches This is exactly why I like the movement. Nothing bothers me more than a seconds hand not aligning with the indices/hash marks. The VK64 removes that annoyance while giving me the mechanical chronograph function and all the other advantages of a quartz movement.

The one thing that is missing for me is a running second hand, but other than that the watch is awesome, just like the Skindiver. And again, love the bundt strap.

Ice looking watch. Might be slightly over priced for what you get. Meaning the Pagani chronograph has sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, VK63 movement and screw down pushers. All for less than $100.

Yeah there's almost always a Chinese factory brand that will be cheaper. I'll usually pay for the original design if it speaks to me.
