I'll almost certainly try it - I enjoyed Wolcen a bit - certainly more than Warhammer: Chaosbane, or even worse, Pagan... or that Magic the gathering ARPG.

I don't know how well Wolcen 2 will do. These are the same devs that did Wolcen Lords of Mayhem I guess I would be careful not to get too hyped up for Wolcen 2 unless you love the first one. They way they handle their testing for the first one wasn't good. There were a lot of bugs in the big passive wheel along with some of the passives just didn't work at all. All because they held back on letting the players test them out. The players that bought the game essentially were paid beta testers for the launch of the game instead of just game players playing a finished and well polished game. There may have been other problems with the game as well.

Personally i will say that Wolcen despite being crushed under alot of issues and then abandoned had a very fun game loop and good gameplay. The builds and possibilities were really decent, the graphics i dare say ahead of their time even - for the price you paid to play this game and the hours you could sink into it, it was actually a decent price/fun/time investment. There are tons of games out there with higher or same prices that didnt even remotely lived up to such standards. The only real problem is that the game spent more time in the News for being unstable in Multiplayer/Online play and stagnant development than for what i had to offer. Should they go with Wolcen 2 as Title that be a very dual edged Sword. The Story seems to have no connection and the bad reputation will be sparking alot of review bombing, as people are very very spiteful over how they been "Abandoned" while tons of other games never made it out of Alpha/Early Access too they paid same money for. The Studio has the prowess and skill to make a amazing game thats for sure but its gonna be a rocky road ahead.

It would be suicide to have wolcen attached to this game. this studio have -100 in rep, if its not free they will need a damn perfect demo for people to give them money after what they did with wolcen.

I didn't like a lot of the decisions with Wolcen either but they had some smooth animations! Way better than D4, which was so.. weird? I don't understand how people could think the animations were "so smooth" on D4. Either way D4 bad, so. Haha.

@@bearwitty9690 i played wolcen alpha back than and oh boy it was a different game. Than the beta came out and they changed almost everything,did go the diablolike way. Thats where they killed the game even before full release.

It's obviously an extraction pve or pvpe game mixed ARPG gameplay. They ask two major questions in the survey for Alpha request and one of those major questions is asking about time played with a list of only pvpe games.

I played a lot of Wolcen. I liked it. Sure, it had some math problems, but it was fun to me. I'll check Wolcen 2 out depending on the gameplay trailer. Need to see wtf this is about.

The last version of Wolcen (Endgame) was actually great. To date my favorite end game loop in an arpg. I got 100 hours out of $10 during one of the Steam sales.

I was one of the players who didn't get many issues playing wolcen for a long time so I had fun making builds which then got nerfed pretty quickly though.

They should ABOSOLUTELY drop the Wolcen name. Anyone who hears the name Wolcen, immediately thinks "Scam, trash, failure, clunky AF" I could go on. Let Wolcen die, and make a good game worthy of a new name.

Wolcen isn't as bad as people say. The campaign is fine. Didn't encounter any bugs in 60 hours of playing. If they hire someone who can craft fun endgame, they are capable of creating something good. Hopefully.
