Then I kept watching and despite my initial skepticism, I learned a lot about the mitigation nodes and damage multipliers on the tree I've never bothered to look at before. Great video 👍

Hi binashole, noob question..do u use duplicate skills? Just reviewing the skills and mark of impurity is being leveled up and u do not have room for skill? Currently lvl 37 trying ur build. THX

I'm not quite sure I understand correctly what you are asking. For the Mage build, I do not use duplicate skills.

Question on Infinity blades why you are taking Quantic Memories. It says grants a buff to the damage nearby allies deal. Not you. Unless the tooltip is not correct?

Yes, the tooltip is incorrect. It clearly gives you a damage buff, you can even see the buff on the lower left side of the screen, along with all of your other buffs.

Can you change damage to elemtal damage and gain even more damage. I'm confused why I use with my bleeding edge skill only material damage but you use damage instead with your elemental mage. Or does damage also do something else special to the ailments what elemental not does.

You could certainly use elemental instead of %damage. I just happen to gather all the gear for this a while back, before elemental could even roll on high level pieces of gear. I don't have the feedback as for which one would be better because I haven't played with Elemental gear but my guess is it would be slightly better.

@@pabuGER For my build, no. You will still want to have anomaly inflict stasis to get max benefits on Which Time Cannot Heal easily for example.

For pure damage fFrostweave is better. For speedruns, I would still use a regular chest to get that extra Cooldown Reduction.

@@BinaQc i was also thinking that since frostweave is a rogue armor, u would get tons of heal and could drop faith leech node. What do you think about that?

How do I start the game? The gun deals little damage and wastes mana that is not left for spells.

Make sure not to use auto attacks with your weapon or you will gain Rage incredibly fast.

@@BinaQc how to regen willpower on the begining of game with this build?

@@asusnexusov8074 I encountered the same problem before. What I did is to just use the staff at the first half of the game as it will be really hard to generate willpower when using gun + catalyst at that stage. If you're keen on still using a gun, just substitute 1 skill ( I would suggest aether jump) with a rage dump skill like turret or havoc orb.

You can still get persistence hunting, I just removed a few nodes for node priority.

Is it just me or have they increased "boss" damage? I just cannot progress past LVL 166 with my current gear and to get better gear? What on earth do I need to do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Starting at 163 you get the same odds at the best gear! So farming 163 is the same as farming 187 as far as loot goes. EXP is something else though.

yes , nice build, we have to be careful sometime with one shot but really nice.....may be less powerfull and weaker with 2 or 3 players...did you test?

I've done very well in 2 players but anything over that is just unstable right now. Even 2 players is pretty much pushing it.

Mackfesten is only for attack based builds, so it is worthless for Mages. Since you can only get Support or Defensive sockets on your catalyst, crit chance is your best option there.

It is the ilvl of the item. You need to do expeditions lvl 187 to get them.

Can it roll with 3 Offensive 2 sockets? I am pretty sure we cannot re-roll the Unique item's sockets, but if it rolls with 3 offensive 2 sockets it might be worth looking into. I will do some testing and come back to you. I am almost positive it would be worse, but I will look into it.

@@BinaQc no, u have to find a good one. mine has socket III II III, all crit gems. my staff has 90% crit spell dmg on itself too. 50 Ferocity, 30 Wisedom Gen. Testet it with lvl 83 friend with your build - even or a bit better than weapon and cat... but more style :) Edit: Saw one with 92% crit spell dmg and 3 sockets II at onother player

Thanks man, I really enjoy this build! Am trying to level with this one to 90 (currently 70). So, I've got 2 questions: 1. What is the most effective way of losing rage? I keep on stacking rage and the infinity blades only make me lose a bit, especially when I'm facehugging a boss. I sometimes have swap light bringer for autoturret because of this but it's way less powerful. 2. What is the best moment to switch to force shield (EOS)? Your fresh lvl 60 build exchanged the EOS branch for some life leech but I'm not sure when it's time to activate Faith Leech. Beacon for the Lost first? I just update the level 60 tree, now including Beacon For The Lost. The best way of losing rage is hitting multiple enemies with Infinity Blades. On a single target you will have trouble keeping up your willpower and will rely mostly on potions. If you have the Veiled Eclipse pants, you could equip that and grab the modifier on Infinity Blades that converts it's damage to Shadow. That way you would use Rage to cast Infinity Blades. I would say take Faith Leech once you have enough points to grab the Eos tree, the 4% health globe generation and the Faith leech.
