Delicious Things was the first song I ever heard from WA and from the first note I was absolutely enraptured by them. This version is so incredibly beautiful, gave me chills. I dunno. I think these orchestral integrations work better for metal bands, like Architects recently (and BMTH in the recent past). The contrast of the sharp instrumentals and smooth strings (the guitar here diffuse into the strings and contributes nothing). I love Blue Weekend and My Love is Cool though, don’t misunderstand.

I challenged my mates last year to come up an album with absolutely no unskippable tracks - they came up with plenty, but none that I agreed with, whereas I couldn't come up with one - until this year when I discovered Blue Weekend.
