I saw the original with Udo long ago in NY. I DO like the new singer/band, and appreciate the great music they are still writing. I haven't been able to see them yet with the new singer. I have always been a big fan of Wolf!!

I'm 55 and so thankful for the creative drive of Accept and Judas Priest in particular. First time I heard Accept was the Balls video. Immediately these guys stood out. This is real metal! Mark's era has been quite strong as well. The Reckoning is really strong. Rock on metal heads!

I got introduced to Accept when I went to see Maiden in 1985. They opened for Maiden and Udo was singing. Well, need, ess to say, I have been a fan ever since! I think Wolff is an absolute MONSTER guitar player! LOVE THESE GUYS!!! As a guitar player, I wish WH would release a video on how to play his main songs. He is such an awesome guitarist!!!

The longevity of classic heavy metal is explained by the fact that it thrives on melody and meaningful lyrics. Melody, as something that defies fads, is a timeless feature itself, as is heavy metal's reliance on universal themes that make the lyrics accessible and relatable across time. Good music will always outlast the flavor-of-the-month styles.

Ready for this, my man. I first saw Accept open for . . . IRON MAIDEN, on the World Slavery Tour. That was in May 1985. I just kicked your a$$!! Let that sink in for a moment. I saw IM on Legacy 2022 and was able to see Accept on the Blood on the Nations tour with Sabaton opening. Accept was just incredible; Wolf has always been in my top ten, always. Fast forward to 2024, KKs Priest and Accept are the best in metal form and I believe they should tour North America together, playing between 2,000 and 5,000-seat venues all across the fruited plain. They could do 30-40 shows in the USA alone. Let's do this.

I’ve been a huge fan of this band for the past 40+ years. Yeah, we like to see all the same members stay on the same team, but it doesn’t always work out that way. With that said I I love the band as much as I did the stuff they’re doing with. Mark is great.

Can't decide which one i like the most. When they announced some years ago they were visiting my place i just booked a ticket and waited for nobody to join me. In the end it was the first ever live that i attended alone and it was awesome. Wait to see them again this year

Great interview. But unfortunately I don't agree with many of what Wolf said. I will only say this...Stefan Schwarzman and Herman Frank left because they felt the new ACCEPT was too weak and morose compared to the past. Peter Baltes left ACCEPT because he felt that he was basically a DEAD HORSE and that he was not part of the creative team. And last the new ACCEPT is what Andy Sneap wants to hear not Wolf.

"such a shame" that there is war in Ukraine, so he can't go perform to russia. Poor russian metal heads are suffering as "everyone" as he said. Gosh, it's so frustrating how some Europeans are absolutely out of this planet

I think to be fair, he probably was caught offguard on the question and while trying to be politik and navigate the question in a neutral fashion it came across very badly, and even he apologized for fumbling that response. Ukraine is literally fighting for its right to exist against Putin, arguably the worst tyrant on the planet...thousands of Ukrainian children have been kidnapped from their parents, Russia routinely is sending glidebombs to destroy infrastructure and power generation, destroying hospitals and other civilian targets. The human tragedy Putin is directly responsible for is terrible and sadly he still has popular support internally. I think Wolf should categorically come out and say "yes Putin needs to go and we won't tour in Russia until the war in Ukraine is ended and his forces leave permanently.".
