There are animals there that can seemingly grow as big as mountains, other intelligent species that can be extremely hostile. Abilities that border on more than just magic, so curses or something like that are absolutely possible. It could really be anything, or maybe just a really horrible epidemic.

It's unclear who created this KZbin channel, and it's likely unofficial as the video quality seems capped at 480p across the board. After digging a little deeper, I found out that this Chinese animated series has been airing on Douyin since 2022. It's definitely a team effort rather than a solo project, especially judging by the more recent episodes which showcase a significant increase in production quality. This doesn't diminish the quality of the animation itself, of course! It's still impressive work, and it's great that it's finding a wider audience. It's just important to acknowledge the original source and the team behind it.
