I think it's hard because predators have so much life in their eyes and it's hard to replicate on something that's not alive.

Actually most taxidermy is scavenged roadkill which is pretty cool imo, its like the ultimate form of honor. Also wolfs aren't endangered, they are currently thriving and of least concern.

I am 11 years old,and I have been interested in taxidermy recently. When I'm older I want to be a taxidermist, it can sound "weird" or "gross" for my age but I find it so interesting! I'm not sure how to tell my parents this they might think it's gross.

Just play to your interest in art, anatomy and wildlife. They might try to dissuade you but you never know. Really they ought to just be glad you're interested in something constructive. If worst comes to worse you can check out books from libraries and research on the internet until you're old enough to get a job. Then just save up for basic equipment and maybe a small storage shed to do your work in without disturbing anyone with a weaker stomach.
