Das war sowieso das erste mal dass jemand ohne gegen jemanden mit Armbrustschützen gewonnen hat. Normal gilt ja Bogenschützen < arab. Bogenschützen < Armbrustschützen. Wieso auch immer hat der Wolf plötzlich kaum mehr welche ausgebildet, er hatte den Sieg fast schon in der Hand.

Naja das war kurz nachdem der Wolf seine ganzen bösen Dinge gebaut hat, dazu kam das Saladin die guten Sachen gebaut hat, eigentlich war das abzusehen das Wolf im earlyearly rasiert und dann aufs Fressbrett bekommt.

Das liegt daran, das auf der Map keine Rohstoffe sind und der Wolf eisen wie auch Nahrun, Steine Holz und Waffen kaufen muss und seine Produktion nicht darauf ausgelegt ist ohne welche auszukommen. Saladin hingegen besizt eine grosse Wirtschaft für die er zwar Weizen kaufen muss, jedoch benötigt er kein Eisen das sehr teuer ist und kann dann viel Einnahmen mit der Brotproduktion machen jene der Wolf nicht hat. Zudem kann er mit dem Bier seine zufriedenheit nicht hoch genug pushen da er böse dinger baut und ohne nahrung das sehr schwer wird hohe steuern einzutreiben . Beim endscreen sieht man ganz gut das einkommen der beiden und den etwa 6x höheren gewinn der steuern von saladin. In einem normalen 1v1 würde der Wolf gewinnen wenn der doffe bug nicht kommt.

Yeah, if you give them resources, the fight can go on forever, as unlike any other RTS games, most resources in this game never dry out. You can get infinite iron as long as you keep the iron mine and so on.

Hey Udwin , I think all the vs battles will have different results if the kingdoms were far away from each other. I believe this will show more results about how the AI would behave if the have the chance to build their own castles without being bombarded with tower catapults.

Like Wolf is stronger in normal game. There are no resources which doesn't efect saladin's troop production, but hurts wolf's a lot, bcs he rely on iron and wood so much. And he got negative morale to make those things (which he cant make on this map) faster, and it just makes his troops do less dmg and he even pays for it . You guys have to think a bit, before saying that saladin is a lot stronger than wolf.

If one of the two relies more on economy it's definitely Saladin. Besides the statement 'Wolf is stronger in normal game' is highly debatable. I've always had more problems with Saladin.

The thing that makes Saladin harder to defeat is his positive fear factor, added with his good castle defense. His castle's defense is also quite formidable despite not as fancy as Wolf or Roderick. Also, Saladin's economy can literally flourish even in the desert that has nothing but stone. His defense is still formidable even in the higher ground unlike Roderick, Philips, or Nizar. What's annoying is, like Wazir, he likes to disturb his enemy's economy condition by sending Horse Archers, though we can counter them with Spearmen or even Pikemen.

Eigentlich anders rum^^ Das ist zwar wolfs kleinste Burg, aber auch sein am schnellsten offensives layout. Der greift hier blitzschnell an, was gegen den saladin sehr effektiv ist. Glaube zwar auch das Wolf im schnitt besser ist, jedoch hat er hier es nicht rechtzeitig gepackt saladin niederzustrecken. Denke eher das der Wolf ressourcentechnisch die runde einen gewaltigen nachteil hatte. Edit: Grammar

Lord Udwin has actually had several Wolf vs Saladin matchups and Wolf has won every match bar this one. I've also tested them against each other several times. Wolf always wins castle to castle due to superior missile troops and he wins at a distance at least 2/3 times. Saladin needs certain circumstances to win.

Ich finde das Duell nicht fair gemacht worden. Denn Wolf kann keine Rüstungen produzieren und muss sie zwangsweise kaufen Gegensatz zu den Arabern. Das heißt die Araber geben weniger aus für Truppen und können schneller produzieren. Wolf hatte eigentlich kaum Chancen, außer wenn er am Anfang nichts falsch gemacht hätte.

saladin tends to be more cost efficient with his soldiers even though he already has a good economy for an ai, mostly relying on mercs maybe expensive but he has no need of armories or weapon factories

It is because there are no resources. Wolf has negative fear factor, so he rely on strong economy, fast mining and harvesting along with production. However, with no resouces, you must build your economy based on positive fear factor (stronger troopss) and taxes. Saladin has positive fear factor, so he is better in those type of games.
