Good podcast. However, I disagree with James on the churches interpretation of scripture Jesus said not to show off your piety and said do this in memory of me so there absolutely nothing wrong with praying in a crowd. He prayed with crowds when feeding the 5 thousand. What this discussion was lacking is the acknowledgement of spiritual warfare. The devil wants us all dead because he rejected to serve God after he said he would become human. The real war is Jesus vs the devil and Jesus has already won. Just a pity the guest didn't have more knowledge on the kingship of christ and he is the one true God and has dominion over everything in the universe. Stay in grace is the only way to beat what's coming.

You need to research words and where they come from John, I would be of the opinion that James is right about the Churches, words are very deceiving if you don't know their meaning and where they come from, remember you Spell a word.. Church (English) Kirk (Norse) Circe (Greek) Now, the C's in Circe sound like K's, that's were the Kirk comes from the Norse language, look up who Circe is in Greek Mythology and get back to me, you might learn something cool today but sad..

OK but I was referencing the catholic church I don't recognize other churches. As the catholic church has defined what the scripture mean. Now james has a point there has been some areas where clear definitions of scripture have been twisted to suit certain individuals but I trust the doctors of the church and the people who have devoted there's live to studying the scripture like st thomas Aquinas. The protestant revolution certainly has altered the word of God but the catholic church has stayed true to the teaching of jesus.

@@johndunne9673 I know you were referencing the Catholic Church, the Catholic Church was built off the remnants of the Greek Mythology, and all mythology is based off astrology, it's a fascinating story!! Jesus ( Zeus )is the Son of God, Son been Sun, you go to mass on a Sunday, the day of worship!!
