7:27 Yeah, Roto's hitbox is very janky, which can be either useful or not. However it's raw power outclasses Starfruit by a mile. And just a hint for Modern Day, the sun producer as you mentioned a few videos ago will require certain plants around it to be worth using for sun.

@@allah_before_everything nah dude. Moonflower isn't better than primal. And I think putting em in a square is a waste. I do a row of lobbers then a row of moonflowers then another row of lobbers and that boosts every single shadow plant.

@@CowKirbo primal is alot worse than both moonflower and sun shroom and is one of the most overrated plants in the game bc of the fact u cant plant it immediately after the first 50 sun drops, and u can easily make sun shroom and moonflower give more sun than the cost unlike primal sunflower, moonflowers in a square is literally 4 twin sunflowers for half the cost in like 30 seconds, that is extremely busted and easily better than primal sunflower, u can plant 2 moonflowers faster than 2 primals and like 4 sun shrooms before the 2nd primal sunflower and sun shroom’s sun saving in the early game makes up for the grow up time which is why there is exactly 0 reasons to use primal sunflower over the 2 other sun producers And moonflower is faster and better than sun shroom bc it theoretically grows to a twin sunflower in 30 seconds

@@CowKirbo Okay but putting them in a row will not power them up if you plan on using Moonflower for non-shadow set ups. However, two columns gives you massive amounts of sun at a cheap price and allows you to use other plants especially expensive ones like the Melons and the launchers. Please keep in mind that Moonflower's sun production increases the more shadow plants near it (via itself) even if it's unpowered. It becomes a Primal Sun for only 50 sun. However, since its recharge is slow, Primal Sun can substitute it in some situations, however besides that Moon is a great sun producer.

It's cool how there are several bosses in this game unlike the first game, but none of them are as good as the final boss from the first game. It feels very RNG-based here and I really liked that puzzle with the fire and ice from the first game! None of the bosses have any sort of puzzles it seems. Sure, the original game's final boss had RNG, but here, unlike the original, Zomboss can wipe out an entire lane or few and just spawn in overpowered zombies like gargantuars and you won't have any plants to help with that. When they make PvZ3... I hope the bosses are more like the original... I doubt they will be, but I'd love to be surprised!

It's your opinion but I disagree with the puzzles thing. To name a few when the shark vacuums if you plant a tangle kelp it will destroy his motor and stun him also if you plant food a magnet shroom on the dragon boss it will stun him by pulling his nose ring. But overall I can see why people would prefer the first games boss

honestly i just wish they were more creative with the bosses in this game. almost every boss is fundamentally the same (except for a few outliers) and it just gets boring. you almost always know what to expect which is pretty lame imo.

Great job on beating Big Wave Beach! Now imagine a world where random zombies from other worlds suddenly appear and there’s no way to tell which zombies from which world is gonna appear. So you might encounter dangerous zombies such as mech gargantuar, weasel hoarder, shovel and patriot zombies, tomb raisers, pharaohs, and octo-dad in one level, and almost all those levels have that gimmick. That’s your next world, good luck!

Modern day is not as hard as big wave but also still very hard. The music from modern day is from the original PVZ remixed using styles of all the other world. The mid wave theme is graze the roof remix, and the final wave is a remix of zombie on you lawn( without lyrics ).

Now that you're done with big wave beach, I have some advice for modern day. This world is extremely hard, but not in the same way big wave beach is. The levels are more of puzzles instead of just speed to manage plants the best. I highly recommend using premium plants bought with gems as nobody would blame you for doing that. The plants obtained in modern day are some of the best in the game, as long as you use them correctly. Give yourself a quick recap on stuff in the original pvz, you may see some things you remember from it. Make sure to have your sound on, the music in this world is absolutely phenomenal. (Around as good as neon mixtape tour.) Good luck with the world! This series has been so fun and it's to see it coming close to the end, but I know that modern day will be the best world so far.

Tips for bigman: modern day is very unpredictable and sometimes during levels zombies that aren’t shown to you on the choose your seeds menu can spawn in, like jesters (uno reverse card) so its best to bring plants that can counter multiple types of zombies So basically, use magnifying grass

Heres a quick thing for modern day, The sun producer you get after like level 1 is actually better than primal sunflower if used correctly, you will want a row of the moonflower down the lane 2nd from the back and then have the 2 lanes that it lights up with shadow plants (it might actually just be any plant, i cant remember tbh its been a while since i played pvz2)

Once you reach modern day, you should start using moonflower. It has double of a sunflower's cooldown but it produces more sun if you group it with another shadow plant including moonflower. If a moonflower is surrounded by 4 shadow plants, it gives 100 sun(increases when upgraded) for the same cost of a sunflower: 50

Bruh, big wave beach was so hard for me to an extent that I quit playing for 4 yrs, completed modern days, and only remembered that I didn't finish the world then, when I came back I had all these levelled up plants and completely crushed the levels with ease, but I kinda regret it cuz it feels like I cheated, and that I only managed to finish after seed packets and arena were a thing, and I was able to defeat all the other worlds with normal levelled plants

A little trick I got from spending a lot of time beating the zomboss shark, tangle kelp can stop his vacuum attack by getting stuck to the blades. Very useful if the lane has banana launcher

Ah modern day is great, it’s difficult, but in more of a celebratory “you made it” kinda way. Also the plants you get are probably my favorites of the whole game

Premium plants are like level 10 normal plants it's good that you didn't use them in this world It would have made the game boring
