In general, if a premium plant is gotten using gems or is torchwood, I personally think it's fair game. The only REALLY unfair plants are gotten with actual money or seed packets alone. Gem plants on the other hand just require that you play for a moderate amount of time and, while strong, aren't OVERLY so.

The thyme warp actually does heal the zombies when sent back to start, but any armor on them like buckets, cones, or what ever doesn’t get healed or put back on, only the health of the zombies

About Garlic, he's so much worse in this game than he was in the last one. He's somehow frailer now. Not just because he has less bulk, but there's a delay where zombies sometimes take two bites before they react. Even worse is that there are so many zombies that don't eat. At least one of the special zombies in each world can get past Garlic. It doesn't work on mechs either. He's best used as an instant on a group of zombies or a way to divert Arcade Zombie/Troglobites rather than a stationary plant like in pvz1.

I don't think so. A lot of the premium plants you can buy with gems used to cost actual money and they are very op. Even torchwood is probably too much since you can level up plants these days. I would defenetly prefer to only allow torchwood.

thyme warp restores hp on zombies, but not armor, so buckets remain the same, but if you try it on the garg he'll be back to full hp. magnet shroom actually works on the punk, just not on the boots. due to all the metallic accessories he's rocking, magnet can just instantly rip his head off.

I agree, BUT I'd say that you should only use the gem plant after you've beaten the world that it was introduced in. For example, Homing Thistle is Big Wave Beach, Shrinking Voilet is Jurassic March, Lava Guava is Lost City, etc.

Wolfy, when we say "Premium," we mean plants bought with money. Gemnium plants (plants bought with gems) or seed packet plants (like torchwood, though most seed plants are OP like Heath Seeker) aren't premium because you don't buy them with real money. Basically, gem plants and Torchwood are fair game.

The Music in Neon Mixtape Tour is incredible, so glad you were feeling it too, every single track slaps, the Choose Your Seeds theme is super chill, the Rap Jam, 8-Bit Jam and Metal Jam in particular go super hard and the Ballad Jam is fantastic, it's just a shame you barely ever get to hear that in-game

I don't want to influence your playthrough too much, but I think you should be utilising stalling plants a lot more. At this point, the game gladly throws a metric fuck-ton of zombies at you as soon as the first few die. If you can stall those first few zombies, then you should have a bit more time to build up your defences before they start unleashing the massive swarms at you.

in jurassic marsh even with full on stallia + iceberg lettuce + stunion + puff shroom stalling you can't get more than 1 lane of primal sunflowers before it starts the dinosaur + buckethead spam shenanigans

You're not wrong about Phat Beet though. It's a shame because he's one of the coolest looking plants but GOD is he underwhelming, he's basically an off-brand Snapdragon. NMT has easily the worst selection of unlockable plants, with a lot of them falling short in this world in particular because of how many non-eating zombies there are that easily counter them, plus the Thyme Warp which sounds OP until you realise it heals zombies and is exclusive to this world. Even regarding the better ones in my opinion, Spore-Shroom and Intensive Carrot, I doubt you'll be using them much.

Btw garlic is useless. He has less health, doesn't work on the first bite and is way worse because there are so many zombies in this game on top of zombies that just instant kill it or ignore it entirely Phat beat is a much worse gloom shroom as well. Gloom walk is no longer a good strategy in this game

Also I'd highly recommend using Sun-shroom as your sun producer. They were already your best source of sun production, but a lot of these levels are really lengthy so Sun-shrooms will definitely be the most beneficial option in those cases.

Time warp does heal zombies back to full but it meant their health not their armor so if they have nothing like a brown coat and they lose an arm if you use time warp they get the arm back. Keep these videos coming wolfy!

Party corn is in part of one of the themes, but it's a very long theme and the party corn part is a few minutes in. You'd have to be stalling a ton to hear it I think. The theme it's in is the gargantuar's theme.

For the record, Thyme Warp _does_ restore health, it just doesn't restore armor. That usually doesn't matter since most things are like a 2 or 3 hit without armor, but Gargantuars don't have armor...

Heres some tips for you wolfy: don’t use the phat beet or garlic (when you get it) because they dont do much and garlic has little toughness so it died quick so dont be to excited about getting the garlic. However, you should use magnet shroom and other plants you get in NMT because they are pretty good to use

Celery stalker has insane DPS. It can kill a conehead and browncoat and is cheap as dirt. One of the best plants hands down.

Modern Day Dustup has this particular last stand level where it only throws swarms of brickhead zombies at you and it doesn't give you much sun (not to mention the level is 4 flags long so you can't just stall for as long as you like then let the lawnmowers do their jobs.) I then went through every option and settled on celery stalker + infinut 2 times but the final row would be regular wallnut and this setup worked really well and didn't set off any lawnmowers at all

Man, let me tell u some tips - I recommend you to use twin sunflower instead. They might have a long recharge time and quite expensive, but when it's planted a lot (at least 10 of it), you won't regret it. - In the beginning of a level, don't immediately kill the first until third zombies that appears, freeze them or use potato mine in the back row, so u can farm sun first. - *Bring insta kill plants* Also i think it's ok to use gemium plants, it's not quite stronger as them seedium and premium plants though.

I think you'll like this world, In my opinion it has some of the most underrated plants and it has a nice difficulty curve, a decent combo is place an endurian then place a celery stalker 2 spaces away so when they chip away at the endurian celery stalker bashes them before they can do any major damage.

You could use tortch wood and the gemnium plants since you had to grind levels and missions to get them with evidence too. Shrinking violet and seedium plants are not allowed though except for torch wood.
