everything, the dialogues are cringy, the characters sucks, there are too many cutscenes and they are too long, there is too little gameplay. And the quality of the graphics isn't even uniform throughout the game, some parts of the game look unfinished. Then people complain about The Order 1886 because it was short or because it was too similar to a movie, but the Wolfenstein reboots are worse, especially this one... Also The Order had better graphics in 2015 and at least it doesn't feel like just a series of rooms interrupted by cutscenes...

I'd really like to see this game played on a difficulty setting a bit harder than where you have it where it's not virtually impossible to lose unless you literally set the game controller down and go out to lunch... and then your lunch order comes late, but you end up having a thing for the waitress, the two of you hit it off, she tells you she gets off shift in an hour and to wait for her at the bar, by that point it's almost dinner time so you decide to go have a drink together, one drink turns into seven, you end up back at her place, you stay over, you wake up in the morning and she wants to walk her dog and get breakfast before you head back out, and by the time you get home you're STILL not out of ammo and you STILL have 50% health. Ridiculous.

I wish more people could appreciate this game for THIS and not try to be elitists and claim that the game isn't Wolfenstein anymore, I feel like I'm the only person who thinks this direction was PERFECT for this series, not only the concept but the execution. And I love how over the top it is, in how many games you see crazy shit that's happening in this game?? Like geez, just have fun and stop glorifying 30 year old game, I wonder how the pseudo-fans would interpret the game and pull it to modern times as good as they did. Let's see, killing nazis, killing nazis... Mecha Hitler... Oh yeah so much to interpret from the original, I GUESS NEW GAMES AREN'T WOLFENSTEIN AFTER ALL, I bet people would love if it was just plain simple shooter like DOOM (no offense for DOOM, one of my favourite franchise and the new games are phenomenal) except I don't see a point of making another DOOM except called "Wolfenstein" and with nazis. And yes I know new DOOM games also have a story, but it's simple to ignore and the game is clearly focused on gameplay, especially Eternal. While Colossus heavily focused on the story, and I love that. The game separated itself from DOOM and does something original just like DOOM, but different. Throwing crazy concepts and actually emotional story, it isn't something that was never done before, but the execution is what matters, and the execution is top notch. Like the whole scene from meeting and killing his dad to getting captured, literally being killed, with the whole fake outs etc. phenomenal. Of course there's much more to it, more context etc. But the despair this game showed is just incredible. Yes the reurrection scene was ridiculous and over the top, so is the whole game! Deal with it. That's the point. I really don't get why people have such a problem with this game. And no I don't base all of my arguments on the fact that the game is "different from DOOM". But the original games were so similar at their core and I think it's important to remember that as legendary as original games are, obviously, bringing it back to modern era was really quite a task and the fact that they did it, with such a crazy approach yet still true to their roots, is crazy. Again, not as true to their roots as DOOM. But that's because all DOOM needed was bringing what was already there to modern times, as they did. Wolfenstein was a little too simple for that... Why? Because just like DOOM there was no story at all, but unlike DOOM, the gameplay was simpler as well, combined with the themes "just bringing it back to modern times" as it was would just make a very simple game... That's why the possibilities were endless, in my opinion their interpretation and execution is excellent. I'm not saying this approach was the only right one, and the games obviously aren't perfect, some over the top sections were really unecessary, but not to the point of ruining the game, as some people claim. They didn't play it safe, they went full on out there, and at least that is worth respect. I'd say 8-9/10

It's people who do wrong in our world. And considering the backdrop of Nazi oppression in this game, that's a very appropriate message. Nazis... weren't monsters. They did horrible, evil things, but they were men and women all the same. So that bit when B.J.'s father helped him take care of the "monsters" in the basement? Great storytelling, there. Definitely nowhere near enough to paint him as a good, or even halfway-acceptable person. But it showed that even the worst of people are still people. There are no monsters, only the sins of our fellow humans.

I absolutely loved the first one, even though there were a couple of personal niggles that i had with it, and only finished it last week. So I bought this and have been playing it for a few days, it's still a fantastic game and some of those former niggles have been ironed out for this game but I still find it quite hard to traverse, and I'm constantly walking around trying to find someone or a certain room just for a cut scene. There's nothing properly directing you like in most games of this ilk and it's just a bit tiresome running around, constantly lost, looking for things that I need to push the game forward.

I really love The New Order, and though The New Colossus has some unforgettable parts and good storytelling and cutscene choreography, the stealth gameplay is terrible. The game makes it really hard not to do things the loud way, and The New Order was the complete opposite, with stealth being 100% possible unless scripted to be a gunfight. This is my least favorite Wolfenstein, but again, it has some legendary scenes. Milkshake Nazi, the “space aliens” rant in the basement, Horton and Blazkowitz aggressively conversating, and the ending cutscene for the game. But if a cutscene is when I’m enjoying a game the most, it’s not a good thing.
