@@2005smtyJ It is kinda wild that there are 45 mons with intimidate, 28 of which are fully evolved or good with eviolite, and because of Incin basically none of them see play. The only alternatives are Arcanine-H and Lando if you need an offensive intimidator, and maybe Gyarados if you can't fit another fire type. It's very sad. Also Scrafty is my favourite Pokemon, so I'm admittedly annoyed that they keep giving Incin every possible tool and leaving other Intimidators out to dry.

Man, I feel like these videos have really changed the landscape of competitive Pokemon in a very positive way. Before, I feel like singles Smogon was what everyone was talking about, thinking fans having control would lead to a better system (plus they match the story mode, making them feel more natural to most people). And I think these videos have informed me and a lot of others that VGC really is the better format with more options. I think you’re playing a major role in competitive Pokemon getting more popular, so I wanted to say thanks. And keep that artist that makes your thumbnails; they do such a great job

Absolutely absolutely love this style of content, looking at old VGC content from the eyes of someone who's actively been there throughout the years gives a level of insight that's really entertaining and interesting as a viewer. Maneuvering the landscape of old pokemon with limited legal dexes and wrestling with old mechanics that thanksfully got fixed will always contribute value to the VGC scene, especially as the years go by and more people join the community who've never experienced competitive pokemon pre-gen IX (or later when we get there :3) It kind of reminds me of one time I had sat next to Wolfe at (i think?) Charlotte Regionals where round 1 start got super held up, and I was tuning in to Wolfe and his opponent talking about how janky old gen V sleep mechanics were. Learning how far we've come is S/V from old gen V where you could get unlucky and roll a 3 turn sleep with nothing you can do is fun to learn in retrospect and gives so much more appreciation for how far the game has come :3 commenting something nice in case it actually gets seen and more stuff like this gets made because it's so peak love ya wolfey :3

My favorite part of your videos are the in depth talking about your teams and the rôle/niche plays each pokemon was supposed to fill : what can you do with them and why did you chose them in this team, so i'm always eating well with theses kind of videos
