In an interview with Howard Stern, Wolf shared a vulnerable moment he had with his dad where he asked him "Dad, what if the music I makes sucks?" His dad's response was succinct & immediate: "Impossible." You could see in Wolf's face how that moment of validation & joy gave him an extra layer of insulation & confidence against the harshness of which he was destined to be judged, & it reminded me just how vital it is that parents support their children's dreams & ambitions. Also, the way his Mom just goes nuts over his various appearances & endeavors just really makes me smile.

I mean, he really isn’t. Meh, he’s subpar at best, I’ve been around local musicians for 50 years, I’ve seen and jammed with musicians much, much, MUCH more talented than this dude. He’s only getting attention because of who his dad is, didn’t have to earn his keep, just got plopped in the spotlight without ever earning it. Can’t respect that. Imagine having a band for almost 50 years, and you end up getting replaced by some spoiled teenager. That’s something you just can’t respect, it’s a big 🖕 to your longtime band mate.
