Thank you Wolf! I had no idea there was such a place although I thought there was a library in the Underdark but I didn't know the name or what was in it. I thought it was just a regular library. I didn't know it had a mysterious entrance and exit or that it had magic stones in it and such. (Unexpected cool imagery at 10:19. I guess it relates to the BG3 trailer.)

Gravenhollow would be like the icing on an already tasty Underdark cake. I love this type of speculation and I hope we get, at the very least, a lot more of the Society of Brilliance. The Underdark is so cool.

Great lore video! There is so much in this world that can be tapped into for game content. Several ties in early access to Gravenhollow, If not in the full release it would make excellent DLC material. Hopefully Larian continues on with Balder's Gate 4 after BG3 releases. I've never been a table top D&D player so I find this all fascinating and would like this ride to continue for years to come. Well done!

So glad to be back at the fire for some more BG3 content and lore! I haven't read much D&D (boo!), so a lot of this is new and exciting to learn about and incorporate into the game. Always appreciate the work you put into these videos, sometimes the only thing that keeps me going until the next drop from Larian. I will watch these all over again before the game is released, you have brought life, color and context to the Sword Coast that only makes the BG3 experience better. My first and only D&D campaign lasted about a year and a half. And it was Out Of The Abyss. It was punishing, but there were some wonderful moments. Sadly, I never got to finish it due to "human factors" (I couldn't get along with my GM anymore, and there were some tensions that accumulated between players as months went by...) My half drow ranger/rogue never got (back) to Menzobarrenzan, never got to fight a mind flayer (and he actually met the two characters mentioned in the video). So, a big part of why I'm so hyped about BGIII is that I'll get some sort of "closure" for my Underdark exploration. There's a whole part of my imagination that remained populated by these weird creatures, the shady corridors and the luminous fungi... And I can't wait to see it on screen.

I'd love to see it i love fantasy librarys i have made 3 of my own each doing something different i'd also love if we could get into candlekeep and when we get into the bhaal spawns room we get a special cut scene or item maybe even a unique dialogue interaction with someone XD

Wolfheart! Have you heard any about if Baldursgate 3 will add the new multi universe races stats to the game and remove the short rest mechanic? I really hope they do! Whats your thoughts regarding this?

Not sure about the race stats but I think I’d be good with that! As far as the short rest mechanic being removed, I have heard nothing about that nor do I think that is even being considered. The 5e classes revolve too much around the short and long rest system.

Would love to take my party up the Sword Coast for more than just visiting Gravenhollow. Tbh I’d be happy if the game was “Baldur’s Gate” mostly in name only or perhaps because it was a central town to the plot. But I’d love to get to visit Gauntlgrym (and the Bleeding Vines community above it on the surface), to visit Luskan (run by Jarlaxle) and the newly re-risen Host Tower of the Arcane, to visit Longsaddle and the Ivy Tower or the Harpell’s (especially as I play a Wizard. I’d love to visit with Gale in the party too), etc. Maybe even c*ck Wulfgar with Penelope Harpell if she’s at the tower… Maybe even find some remaining Glabrezu lurking in the forests that haven’t been banished back to the Abyss. …but that’s because I just finished binging all 38 legends of Drizz’t novels and now there’s a void inside that needs filling. 🥲
