Remember, when asked in an interview what new bands are out there worth of a listen, the late great Ronnie James Dio mentioned Wolfmother!

Wolfmother's main influences have been said to be Sabbath (Ozzy) and White Stripes. Some have suggested there's a trace of Zeppelin in there but in most tracks, that's very faintly apparent.

Love how they paid tribute to Pink Floyd's concert film Live at Pompeii with this video. The song itself is a damn good tune. I own the 2 albums Wolfmother has released (their self-titled debut and their second album Cosmic Egg), and they are 2 of the best albums I've heard from a 21st century music artist.

Amazing record! Ive never heard a keyboardist be so present in a 3 peice rock act. What a talent. They sure lost their soul when they lost the orginal line up. Bless you guys and the self-titled album an Australian classic. Any album after, unfortunately not the same story.

Hah Ima go hiking today at the Devils punchbowl but it's snowed on right now. I've been there before I was just curious at the information of the place and under filmmaking I saw that this band made a video and decided to check it out.
@luvhardcore219 жыл бұрын
+Juan Perez it's in Southern California. I live about an hour from Los Angeles in a place called Palmdale and the city right next to this area is little rock. It's an amazing hike but I ended up going to another place cause it ended up snowing and the trail wasn't secure. So we went to chill in the snow in another city not too far.
@luvhardcore219 жыл бұрын
+luvhardcore21 in this video the Devils punch bowl looks quite dry but I guess they filmed at the very bottom of the mountain. But it's very forest like throughout the trail and once you reach the Devils chair you can see Rams on top of these really high mountains and you can see the formation of the Rock the San Andreas fault created. My city is right above the fault.
@luvhardcore219 жыл бұрын
+Juan Perez I did actually.
@luvhardcore219 жыл бұрын
+Juan Perez I've never been to a show because mostly just always put it off and I'm 21 soon so I guess I should get that off my bucket list. I didn't even see your comment about you being in los angeles .i live about an hour from there and the place that I visited is about an hour further. It snowed last Sunday here where I live. I used to live in Alhambra but it's cheaper to live in Palmdale.
