Heutzutage gibt es das Dativ-e kaum noch und man würde "im Traum" sagen. Ehrlich gesagt denke ich auch, dass es im Traume heißen müsste. Die Formulierung im Traume hab ich bereits öfters gehört, im Träume hier zum ersten Mal. Aber Rechtschreibung gibt's ja auch erst seit dem 19. Jhdt.
