I was in enterprise sales for 20+ years. I started at the bottom and worked my ass off to climb to the top where my average sale was greater than $1M. Jordan could sell ice to an Eskimo. Throughout my successful career, I learned and developed a style very similar to his. Most people watching this will try to copy his "script". Advice; understand the concept and develop your own pitch, don't underestimate the power of how you communicate; confidence, cadence, pitch, tonality.

I have watched that clip probably 3 or 4 times a day for about a year and a half. Starting from when Leonardo DiCaprio enters the Penny Stock Firm until Jonah Hill meets Leonardo. Jordan is fantastic at teaching how to sale. Thank you Jordan for teaching me and helping me really change my life! I interview better, I talk to others better, I know how to sale and I am still learning how to be more effectively at selling. I have read your books multiple times and study how you write in the Wolf of Wall Street and Catching The Wolf Of Wall Street. You break things down and really teach people, plus you can expect an exact outcome and not just a hope to become better. Thank you for these videos too!

@noahstokes13233 жыл бұрын
Wow. The truth well told. I have never heard that phrase but I have done the exact same thing throughout my life and it has got me PLACES I thought I'd never be in. I was in a dark place in life I got kicked out of highschool, I was on probation, and i was a bum who wanted to be high all day. I got my first "real job" while age 16 at 5 guys burgers. They knew I was a hard worker, and I was promoted to manager in 3 months. I then learned I was the youngest manager in all of north America. Which doesnt really mean shit all but it sounds great. I put that shit on my resume and I found way better jobs that helped me build up. I'd approach employers and tell them I was the youngest manager in north America and boom I was hired. Ended up getting me jobs in brick laying, a professional pet store, then renovations, then I got into college for carpentry, renovations and buisness. Through the college I still had the "youngest manager in north America" on my resume and saw this thing called student ambassadors for the school of building technology. I applied for the position and this "youngest manager" shit impressed them and I became an ambassador. From there I went to meetings with the biggest home building companies in my province and I networked my ass off, and impressed everyone just by using this "truth well told" strategy. And then from there I used the strategy again to get on a board of directors for an environmental committee. Now I can say to employers " I was the youngest manager in north America giving me management experience, customer service and sales experience from the pet store, hard work in the construction field, tons of leading knowledge from school, and was even the student ambassador of the school of building technology having meetings with the biggest companies in my province, and I'm even on a board of directors for an environmental committee trying to help this earth heal" doesnt that sound great? All I did was look for opportunities, put my work in, and told the truth very well. Using all this now I will apply for one of the best companies in my province for net zero environmental home building. I'm certain I will get the position If i use this "truth well told" strategy properly. And the truth be told, all the shit i have is legit, but barely required much work on my end and was not as hard as it sounds. KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND HOW TO MARKET YOURSELF AND YOU CAN GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE I TRULY BELIEVE THAT CAUSE IT WORKED FOR ME. COMMUNICATION AND MAKING PEOPLE SEE FROM YOUR OWN EYES IS ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL SKILLS. Thank you jordan for reminding me of this and now I have a simple way of teaching my friends how to be successful

I wish so much I had access to this training and info 20 years ago when starting my sales path. If your younger or new to sales listen to every word he says. Seriously don’t waste time looking at anyone else. This is as close to the holy grail that there is when it comes to inside sales. No joke.

This is good to heard. I’m 17 now and starting out my sales path. Sorry for my english, im from 🇦🇷
@legacyXplore3 жыл бұрын
@@josetosso8839 I meant every word of that message. Sales is a skill. If you take your time to learn as you go and don’t get overwhelmed you can make more money than doing almost anything else. Just don’t give up to soon and don’t focus on people that are negative about sales. If they are negative they aren’t thinking about a true professional sales person. The sooner you understand sales isn’t talking someone into buying something they don’t want or need the better. A professional understands he only wants to be talking to people interested or that have a true need for their product. That comes down to prospecting. If you spend all your selling time talking to qualified prospects instead of people that don’t want or need what you have your already ahead of most young sales people. Jordan teaches all of this. Good luck.

I used this sales tactic in my pressure washing business. On paper we had been opened for 6 months before I started advertising. My first account was this property management my mother in law knew, and I washed 10 properties for them. I needed the experience & photos for my adverts. I would put in my adverts “We are now open to the general public for our washing services after being a private vendor to property managements only.” I used that line in 2021, it’s now 2023 and my business grew so much from using and driving home that feeling of exclusivity and opportunity to potential customers. I didn’t see this video at the time, but seeing it now and hearing someone else thought the same way I did and do about selling is very comforting because at the time I thought I sounded like a complete idiot.

Few years later readed a book. Than a few failures later I started my own company. Year after That Im closing 50 percent of big deals, „moms and paps” are buying the minute after I knock. And I knock just for Fun. I understood something important thanks to you. Try hard, risk all, do the mess and than clean it up to make things happend. Sorry for my english. But paradox is that honesty and hard work pays off more in long term. You can still be „a closer” and stay fair with your clients. Kill em with skill and knowledge. And grow year by year as a salesman.

An Actual Legend. I'm not praising Jordan for his theft and stealing, i am actually in awe of his great intelligence and analytic skill when it comes to communicating with people around him. Jordan Belfort, whether people like it or not possesses great emotional intelligence and can manipulate who the fuck and whatever the fuck he wants, he's obviously the type to easily take control of any situation, even in awkward situations, average people might not notice it but he's definitely been the reason for turning any situation or encounter into a seemingly chill one. He is also the kind of guy to win in any debate and would fit the part of an admirable motivating leader. I'm sure he uses his tactics in good ways too, manipulation doesn't always have to come out of negative intentions. In my opinion, he deserves to be appreciated for his great intelligence, wisdom, and social skills. He is not just a Sales Genius you idiots, he's an embodiment of Geniuses.
