From what I remember from the Livestream event before Fontaine's release, they talked about how they designed underwater exploration to be thalassophobia (fear of deep water) friendly, by making sure there was plenty of light, foliage, and critters to prevent the feeling of staring into an endless abyss. they also spent a lot of time figuring out how to make the camera move and follow your character to help prevent motion sickness

As a long time player of Genshin, my advice is don't grind. Get on, do your commissions, maybe use your resin, do some story/exploration and then go take a break. So many people tried to do everything at once or tried to raise their characters like it was a speed run that they literally made themselves sick of the game and quit, which is a shame since they'd put so much work into it. Believe me, I have played almost everyday since launch and I still love Genshin and enjoy my time with it. The important part is to not push to hard.

@@Jenny-zz8uc Best to save 180 fates before rolling then. You'll need to pick and choose which banners you roll on but it will help you avoid the crushing disappointment when you lose a 50/50. For no matter how bad your luck is, you will get the character you want with 180.

I love how almost everything in this game is derived from real-life cultures and mythologies. It feels like a best-hits compilation of all the most iconic aspects of the most commonly represented countries and time periods in fiction. Also you like Dragons Wolfy? That’s awesome. This takes me back to the days when I was hooked on games like MapleStory and Eden Eternal. I’d easily lose track of time, so I get the appeal of those sorts of games. Genshin Impact looks really good, but I know if I get started, it’d be hard to stop. The collecting flowers bit was my favorite part.

Unfortunately Nexon is as Nexon does, the game becomes increasingly worse (not limited to little to no optimization) to basically P2W so basically most people resort to becoming fashionistas and scalpers for rare/hot items. ...Like you know it's BAD when even clothes dyes in the game sold by players start off like several million ingame currency (no, not NX) where most items by NPCs are like a thousand times less. Which is a real shame to me really. The concept is really good. An anime take on Irish mythology, plus fairly frequently anime tie-ins (the first one in the US is perhaps Anime Summer with SAO, then Kemono Friends, whereas in NXKR and NXJP their first was back in G9/Alchemist arc with Fullmetal Alchemist.)

They provide a safe and easy solution, but if you have max stamina, you can reach it via glider from the Sumeru-side teleporter if you execute it perfectly. There is little room for error, but it is possible.

@@effortlessfury I don't have max stamina (haven't yet bothered to hunt down all the liyue statue upgrade thingies), but I just used Amber's gliding stamina reduction talent, plus a stamina boosting food. The margin for error wasn't all that small actually, I didn't know other ppl had this much trouble gliding to Fontaine before this video, I thought I just needed some extra stamina buffs because mine wasn't maxed lol =P

Not bothered but it kinda surprises me the big difference of opinions between players. Sumeru is actually my favorite region and I love it so much. Maybe is because the culture and stories behind the secondary missions and archon quests drawn me in so much, or maybe the characters, or maybe the exploration and soundtracks. I don't really know. I think it's kinda cool because it puts a kinda balance between different tastes so everyone can enjoy it. (Fontaine is also really cool don't get me wrong, but Sumeru just hits different for me TvT

Sumeru is super crowded and I stopped caring about it past the archon quest and the Jhet and Aranara stuff. You also cannot make me explore that desert, I got very bored with it. There are still a few side quests I need to do in it that I just refuse to do.

I've quit GI about a year ago because of lack in content, the article and other things I will however come back when Khaenriah/Celestia will come out to play from where I left on Sumeru all the way to the end of the Teyvat chapter It's still nice to see that just like Emirichu, Wolfychu fell into the genshin hole. I remember that around midway through Inazuma, I took a hiatus from Genshin. Partially because I was getting into FFXIV at the time and I usually tunnel-vision anything new for a while before acclimating it into my game rotation (or not), but also because by that point I had gotten gacha fatigue. I eventually returned just as Sumeru was about to release pretty much because a good friend of mine encouraged me to pick the game back up and although I still take small breaks each version, I usually come back to explore and experience what the world has to offer. On the other hand, I quit Honkai Star Rail back in 1.0 and likely will not return, mostly because I am just more invested in Genshin (also I have developed a grudge against the Honkai fans, so I have sworn off anything with the name stamped on at this point)

I finally began to play Genshin about a month ago, but i was admiring the game, the arts, the community and the events for much longer. and I'm happy to say that when i joined the game for the first time i was NOT DISAPOINTED. I have a great time every time i play it even if it's just for the daily quests. I can very much understand why Wolfychu loves this game so much for reasons I won’t mention because of how obvious they are. Even when she finally stops playing for a few years she eventually starts playing again and immediately loves it again! The reason that Mohoyu didn't allow for the dog petting action in the game is because of people like you who will be stuck just petting the city animals of the citizens and spend too much time doing it and might get too lost doing it in the game forgetting to play and progress in the game story altogether. So if Mohoyu intends to add a section of a story event/side quest to allow for interactions with the citizen's pets and animals they need to add a total event completion time amount(with maybe 10 to 15 minutes total challenge time with 5 Attempts but once the player has completed the challenge, the total available challenge attempts drops to 3times only per day or every 12hrs from the first time the challenge is attempted for the day). I ended up playing the game when the game was out for about a little over 1and a half years for 2hrs each day [as I was stuck at home with a foot fracture in my right leg with a cast on, the fracture was small but not fun to leave with (1st cast for a fracture in life) I am all better now in life] for about 2weeks and I managed to get Noele[warrior Lady] from the two that you mentioned in-video & Let's just say She carried me through the first few sessions of the game big time and has become my favorite female character that I own and used quite heavily, to be honest [there was a limited time in-game shop offer with the Odds of getting her was Higher & which character odds are boosted or guaranteed to be unlocked next is something you can preview in the shop before you pick to take the offer so you have options]. I also noticed the fact that the[Farina] outfit you drew for yourself has White inner clothes under the coat to suit you & your character better in comparison to the [Deep Blue inner clothes Farina has in-game]. I stopped after the Chef female character that you get as a playable character after you complete her Quest missions. Love the video and was nice to get a follow-up of what was going on in the Genshin Impact game as I have kept myself away from the game news overall. Send my comment to Mohohyu so your animal+pets interactions[request may be accepted with at least a little chance] may be added without there being a deal-breaker update to it later that might ruin this added feature for player interactions.

been playing since 1.0, on and off. Don't have to pay, but if you do decide to pay ONLY pay for Welkin Moons and/or Gnostic Hymns. That way, you support like a subscription. As for pacing, scheduling your game sessions helps, and keeps things goal-oriented. An entire Archon Quest Act once a week, doing your dailies/weeklies then, a side quest once a day. Thus way, you maximize your mileage out of the game without breaking bank nor schedules. Good luck, Wolfy! It's a great game with a decent enough community.

There are three or four reasons why I haven't touched Genshin yet: - On PC the game uses a really aggressive anti-cheat. And considering the laws that the developer has to follow, I don't trust them to not abuse said anti-cheat. - On Android they still don't support physical controllers. We all know that Mihoyo had to make a deal with Apple, as for some reason iOS has the exclusivity over 120 FPS modes and controller support on mobile. - It's a gacha, and boy I don't want to sink even more daily grind time on another game, let alone money that I will lose when Mihoyo discontinues the game someday. - Did I mention I don't trust the governmental bodies that the developer must obey in order to stay up and running?

3:12 Ah, yes. Ruin Graders are relatively easy to deal with ...unless you fight one in a small space, in which case its spinning attack is an absolute _nightmare_ to deal with. Also, it's so fitting that Wolfy got Razor. The wolves have to stick together! I've got 90 Intertwined Fates ready for when Yelan hops into the Wish again (for a spark, which will most likely be the case, or hopefully multiple copies.)

@Chaos89P I think I've only pulled from event Wishes a few times, but I think that was closer to when Genshin dropped (though I can't remember exactly.) But as for Yelan's banners, I skipped the first one (because I think I only had a few Intertwined Fates at the time) and missed the second. Also, what do you mean by "50/50"?

@@TheRealRidley12 The 50/50 is the "coin flip" you get from an Event Wish when you finally roll that five star (henceforth stylized as "5*") comet/shooting star thing, seemingly more likely to happen when you make 10 wishes at once. There's a fifty percent chance you'll get the Event 5*, and the other 50% is a Wanderlust Invocation 5* character or weapon. Some people have been really lucky when they get the 5*, and there are those who lose the 50/50 every time. Good news is, if you lose the 50/50, your next Event 5* is guaranteed to be the event character.

Honestly even following main story line it will last you for quite a while and get u tons of primogems, no need to hunt for sidequests. Also as f2p you get alot of 5* sooner or later, specialy if you know what teams to go for from online guides and only pull on character banners from those teams pulling on every banner gets me i think 30-40 pulls per banner rotation from primos i get, not enough to guarantee 5*, let alone banner one if im on 50/50 realisticaly as f2p u have 2 options : - pull every banner rotation and expect to get 5* every third banner (option id recomend for new players to at least get enough leveled up characters to clear floors 1-8 of abyss with all stars and get a feel for what element interactions u enjoy playing) - save primos for 3+ rotations to get somewhat good odds of getting banner 5* (option id recomend after u have enough characters to know what teams u like to play to target op characters that make those teams better, u can wish on earlier banner until u get missing 4* becouse pitty transfers to future banners, it only resets once you get 5*) Pulling for every wifu/husbando u like might as well be mentioned option 1 ^^ Pull on standard banners as well cos it can give u 5* chars and weapons (u get free fates by lvling chars to accended 70, battle pass, ...), just dont spend primogems on them Also dont forget to unlock housing in liyue and lvl it up, eventually gets you a bit of free primos, house currency char and weapon xp mats and even timed resin refill if u save enough currency (dont waste primogems refilling it, it refils automaticaly and u get burst refils from house, battle pass, ...)
