Grew up on the South Side(now known as Tremont), 1 exit from Progressive Field, (downtown), W.14th Street, Lincoln Park, Tremont School area, too many landmarks + there seemed like there was a church on every corner + so many ethnic diverse cultures/customs, languages, foods, religions back then 🙋. Everyone was inclusive + attended festivals, parades, and local celebrations! *There are 2 other Cleveland, Ohio signs; totalling 3 signs. #2) E. 9th Street, #3)If you are driving from Progressive field go 1 exit West to W. 14th street exit, the at stop sign at the end of exit turn left + you can see it(*It's right before Abbey Bridge when leaving the SouthSide now known as the Tremont neighborhood)on Abbey Avenue in Tremont. If that were confusing again here are the 3 scripted Cleveland, Ohio Signs locations if you want to visit + take a photo of it or with it; Three scripted Cleveland signs are located at #1)Edgewater Park, #2)Northcoast Harbor on E. 9th Street and #3)on Abbey Avenue in Tremont.

Back when I was young in the 70s and 80s my grandparent's WW2 generation seemed like they all skipped town from the day after New Years until the week before Easter, and headed south, getting the name 'snowbirds". We get that lake effect cloud cover in that time as well as the snow, which adds to the brutality. A couple of more years until the kids are out of school, and I will keep the Basecamp here, but be a snowbird. Even the native Americans didn't stay here over the winter!! They saw the snow situation and got the hell out too! Lol!

You thank Global Warming for this year's winter

@@castlecorn593 You can't blame it on global warming. It's the tectonic plates are forever in motion which cause the changes in weather over the years. People seem to forget Earth went through an ice age in the past . same difference going through a warming stage

I love your show. My don’ts for Cleveland was Don’t Go. This segment changed my mind. I’m gonna try one more time. They say “3 times is a charm.”😊

Super easy access to Lake Erie which u can travel by boat (for fun as we did) a short distance to "Party Islands". Such a fun time in the whole Cleveland area with TONS and TONS of restaurants all over East and West side. Lots of historical museums, Little Italy which was a gem and a lot more. A great getaway if u know places to go

Lived in Chicago, Seattle and Cleveland. All great cities. Cleveland has one of the best art museums and orchestras in the country. Great restaurants as well.

I'm from Northwest MI. Currently been living in Dayton, OH. 😥 Now have been traveling for work here in Cleveland and love it. My husband and I have been up here before for a U2 concert and ventured around. We really enjoyed it. Now that I've been here for work for several months, I can say, I truly love it.

Don't forget, after you've spent 3-4 days in Cleveland to stop by Canton and visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After that, come to Columbus and spend 3 or 4 days here. You can visit the Columbus Zoo, Center of Science and Industry (COSI), The Columbus Museum of Art, The Ohio State University and the museums that reside there, The Ohio Theater, and The North Market (for lunch or a snack). The Ohio Statehouse is here, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum is here and the local food and brew scene is amazing!! The head over to Dayton and visit The Aviation Trail, and of course, The National Museum of the United States Air Force (which takes a solid two days to see). Then head to Cincinnati. Basically, Take two weeks in the summer and tour Ohio!

I visit Cleveland often & think it's a very cool city! I am just beginning to explore the Metro Parks! I will have to visit Westside Market very soon! I will find the wineries in town, also! Great video! Thanks for your suggestions!

Visit Geneva (about an hour east of Cleveland) for the wineries. Amish country also has a good winery (Breitenbach Wine Cellars) in Sugarcreek, OH

As I moved up to Cleveland from Akron a few years ago, I really enjoyed this video. I'm all over the city everyday delivering flowers. This city is great with something to do for every one. GREAT VIDEO. Gotta check out little Italy, wonderful food.

That 35 mph curve on the highway is called Dead Man's Curve for a reason! Great video. I've enjoyed your videos from Europe for a while now. I was surprised to see you in my hometown. I had no idea you could spend the night in the Christmas Story House, but good choice eating at the Rowley Inn across the street.

I have lived on the east side of the CLE all my life. People don’t make a negative comment if you haven’t visited. Every city has positives and negatives. Cleveland has a World class orchestra. Multiple sports teams. Classic architecture. World class Cleveland Museum of Art. And our best jewel - Lake Erie! We will never run out of water!! 😊

There’s some beautiful beaches along Lake Erie! My favorites are west of Cleveland in Avon Lake (Veteran’s Memorial Park) and in Vermillion. Especially if you’re driving to Sandusky, definitely stop and check them out.

I lived in Cleveland in the '70's. Fabulous museum, the best orchestra in the world, some of the most interesting people I ever met, hideous weather, and I got mugged twice.

Working class brewery has THE best beers in the area, I’m so glad you showed them. I know the owners, they’re really great people too! I hope you checked out their actual bar, it’s a great place to hangout in Westpark.
