I used to really want this one when i still collected customs. This was sculpted like what, 3 years ago? So really before the x-men vs sentinel thing got played out. Really dont like how they did the eyes. Should have made the white as part of the mask.

I am surprised no one (I haven't seen one at least) has done a Wolverine (X-Men) vs the Brood! Loved that story line when I was a kid. Nice review as always X!

When I saw the photos of this I wasn’t as impressed as I was with the other in the line, I thought it was just something that looked like many other wolverines and nothing original. When I saw this Video and the size of the statue my opinion totally changed. The size really makes it for me. This is amazing! Your extremely blessed to have so many amazing statues. I hope 2021 treats you and your family better than any year prior.

The sentinel base is the best part🤘🤩 I just love it! Wolverine is cool as well, his pose makes sense with the dynamic movement of the sentinel eye, it looks like u are watching an episode of the cartoon series. Amazing statue😎👌

I think this line is amazing but I agree with you on the 1/3.5 size. It just doesn't allow it to mesh with anything else, you almost have to have a display of just that size all by itself. Still he is one amazing piece.

That has to be the best original Wolverine statue custom or licensed! Edit: After watching the full review you pointed out some good stuff and seeing the eyes (wrong move there) but it is still one of the best classic outfit.

Pretty cool man. I have the Alex Ross wolverine coming but I’m not doing any theme or lineups. Everything I do is standalone mainly due to limited space so I much prefer 1:3.5 , however, all my Marvel statues are 1:4 so I understand what you mean by sticking with that scale. I’d give this a 3/5 tbh. Good to see another video man, keep them coming.

That's a awesome piece. I agree with the scaling, but as stand alone piece it's the best wolverine I've seen so far. It's almost like a prime 1 piece, overscaled and humongous base.

Oh man.... Custom Wolverine Vs Sentinel looks incredible. I love the pose and the choice of colours. I love the very detailed sculpt and paint on the inside of the Sentinel head. Such attention to detail. I also love the choice of colour on the sentinel face plate. It's not that metallic but very matte metal like construction machinery sun faded yellow. The concept has to be a 5/5. Damn 1 off haha 4/5 is still great. Errrr why is he crosseyed on the 1st portrait. Unless he REALLY enjoyed taking the sentinel down.. damn more I watch this video I absolutely love the base of this statue. Assembly looked reasonable. I agree with the eyes they are very off. Design 3/5 I'd perfectly fair. I think the paint and sculpt are 98% perfect which in any custom piece must be at least 4/5 for both paint and sculpt. Maybe he is not crossed eyed but he does look it. I think it's just shadowing . I love the open mouth portrait but maybe Mrs.X will fix they eye issues. Hey I knew it would of been 4/5 for paint and sculpt. Hey well done for starting your diet and having control :) #restraint on life now too. 3/5 Is very fair for value. I do love the soldier Wolverine. 4/5 Is perfect for this piece. This is a really nice peace. Ilike it from that incredible Sentinel head base to the berserk position. This happens when his rage take over his logic to stay safe. He knows that he could fall, however he feels that if he does, he will do as much damage as possible on the way down. Alot like when Collosus throws him as a fast ball towards an enemy, and he doesn't care about anything but doing as much damage as possible. The unmasked portrait reminds me of the times when he was in Japan. I personally like the Brown and yellow outfit better but would not mind this statue yet the price is still a bit steep for it.

Interesting piece. I actually prefer the realistic way they did the eyes/mask/skin. Pretty much like you explained with the Batman Returns unmasking situation, I doubt Logan would add black or white makeup for a mask effect.

I really like this! Everything but the eyes are top notch. Such an odd choice to white out the eyes. Maybe it's meant to look like he's in a berserker rage? I'd still easily give this a 4/5 or higher. Maybe custom paint the eyes?
