Watched for first time last night. That's what I was thinking too the fight scenes are freaking amazing, really the whole movie is underrated but the 3rd act could've been done a little better. Still such a great watch.

Over the course of this fight, Wolverine actually died 4 times before he killed Yashida. LOL

wolverine wasnt trying to kill him , thats why. Plus i think he was testing whether his powers had return or not.

But he wasnt really testing if his powers were back or not, he knew it was back cuz he was alive and there wasnt massive hole in his chest. The fight that long, because over his years Logan never really needed to train to be highly skilled fighter, since he could take any number hits and keep going until the other person gives up or makes mistake and Logan kills them, and especially after he got adamantium claws he didnt need to be skilled fighter, since he could easily just cut trough anyone's defense and leave them unarmed and defenseless, Yashida was just so much more skilled than Logan, allowing him to keep the upper hand, until he made massive mistake of thinking his thrust trough the chest would do anything but piss Logan off

@@legendaryjimbob7685I think Logan had very good training, he is highly trained after all, it’s just his memories has been difficult to trace back to himself. I think personally Logan was toying with Yashida for the sake of principle and warning to not hurt his daughters again as in Logan’s “friends” I mean over the course of this movie and more you can see Logan surpasses Yashia in speed, reflexes, stamina, etc although I suppose you could argue that since Logan got his regenerative abilities back after plucking the poisonous robot from his heart that his stamina, body, and mind were still processing and reassessing itself to he whole. You can Logan is slowly becoming more responsive and evasive with Yashida’s speed attacks
