WH- Thanks for posting these. I live in VA after growing up in Royal Oak, MI so it can be tricky watching the games live. Much appreciated.

I appreciate you putting these up on here. I live in NE and we get a Michigan game about every 2 or 3 weeks.

Thanks WH! I couldn't see this game down here in Argentina, and you, as always, did a fantastic recap. I really appreciate it! Man, can Denard fly.

Dear lord I've been watching Michigan football since I can remember and I've never seen a player as fast as Denard Robinson. teach him to throw that quick bubble screen and a slant route and he is a Heisman-capable player in a few years. I'm amazed at his natural ability.

If I'm not mistaken, it was against Iowa in 1992. We ran for 487 yards.

It's was to see Carlos Brown have the best day of his Michigan career. He definately earned it after being snake-bit with injuries all these past years.

It wasn't Michigan's greatest game by any means, but I really like what they did in the 2nd half by coming out strong defensively. And then the offensive just took over. I am glad our run game was unstoppable, but man we are going to miss Molk ALOT now that he is gone for 4-6 weeks!
@McSomething1515 жыл бұрын
I was actually at that game as well. Forgot how much we ran for that day until todd brought it up.

When the games come on the Big 10 network you should be able to view all of them. I have Dish and the standard big 10 channel is 439, but the other games are on 5440 and so on.

Agreed, but it's nice to know we have alternatives if the passing game chokes.

Good game guys, glad they could turn up the defensive heat in the 2nd half. I'm a little worried that the Wolverines over pursue on defense, but at least they are hungry.

That's what he's talking about. Michigan is now getting some of the fastest guys around now. Players like D-Rob, and even Forcier, would've never looked at the Block M until RichRod got the job.

I still can't believe Cissoko got called for that PI early in the game.
@McSomething1515 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I like to know that the offense can still do well if the passing game isn't all that effective. Yeah, we didn't throw the ball very much. But why force it when you can just run for nearly 400 yards and win by almost 30?
@McSomething1515 жыл бұрын

defby Devin Gardner is "true BLUE" all the way, a few days ago someone asked Devin if the success of the two Michigan QB's this season would scare him off, Devin replied "no of course not, it just makes me want to go to Michigan even more, so i can compete against the best!". Michigan is gonna be scary good on offense the next few years, BUT WE NEED TO START GETTING SOME DEFENSIVE STUDS!!!!

Luckily, it IS the other way around...when we were 25 in AP, we didn't even show up in the USA Today Poll, and I feel that the Coaches' Poll is so much more important because they see past the numbers. We're putting up 30+ points every game so far, so the computers like us, but I was a little concerned about the coaches.
@KINGWYCO15 жыл бұрын
finally a michigan team with speed

I think the USA Today has us at 23 while the AP has us at 22. It could be the other way around, though.

@goblue918 that PI wasn't terrible. had the CB been going for the ball the whole time, it would have been legal. yet he was blocking the WR's progress toward the ball. good PI call.
@victorsvalient15 жыл бұрын
Not the best game by the defense but they shut it down 2nd half. The offense was great as usual and it was nice to see runners other than forcier doing well. The whole stadium was soooo quiet when forcier went down injured. Luckily he's ok. And DRob? What can you say, he's a runner more than a passer. He sure can electrify the crowd! For a university of Michigan iPod/iPhone application, search for "wearmaize" in the app store.

Wow, the refs made the worst call since the Miami (FL) vs. OSU championship game. That one pass interference call on Cissoko was HORRIBLE! If anything it shoulda clearly been on the offense!!!!!!! Anyways, it was good to see that not every game has to be won by Tate, his stats were'nt eye opening but he managed the game, and thank god he wasn't injured seriously! I had a heart attack when he was down! Good to see the running game doing amazing! Go Blue!

While I agree with the enthusiasm, let's not get ahead of ourselves and start counting the chickens before they hatch. A lot can happen before eafch of those games with OSU. After the way the last few years have gone (not just last year), I'm honestly not looking beyond the current game. Indiana is seriously the only team I'm thinking about right now.
@McSomething1515 жыл бұрын
Then why wasn't Michigan on his list of schools until RichRod got the job? Michigan was not gonna get a Tate Forcier with Lloyd Carr, or someone from "in-house" as the head coach.

Oh, I see pass interference on that play. Just not on Cissoko. :P
@TheZooCrew14 жыл бұрын
@eKriZZLe Is that a joke? Terrible call. The receiver and cover guy both have a right to the ball, so when Cissoko ran Sears' route for him and played the ball the entire time, whatever "blocking" occurred was him using his body to box out the other guy. Not illegal. Receivers box out cornerbacks on a regular basis; Cissoko just played this well enough to reverse the roles.
@TheZooCrew15 жыл бұрын
I'm on the drumline and was sitting in the front row where Cissoko got that bullshit PI call. I don't know what the poor guy's supposed to do...he goes for the ball, then gets tackled by the receiver and still gets a penalty. All those ND fans can shut up about officiating now after this game and the Michigan State game.
