"Bring a little bit of our hearts, our blood, our souls". So Carminho says, and they sure do. As not a fado expert at all I still think Carminho has it, the voice and the compassion. She is the best!

But I pity the circumstances, obvious it is early, not all of the audience has gathered, it is as if she has to sing into an empty room, and still she fixes it! Because of her professionality, her charm, her nerv. Thats why I love her even more.

There is no "best". Is she better than Mariza, Ana Moura, Maria da Fe, Maria Emilia ? They are all great.

@@bertspeggly4428 it is all a mater of everyone taste… i realy doesn’t know how to say it in english, but in spanish it is something like: “Cada cabeza es un mundo” o también “En gustos se rompen géneros” más la versión un poco más pícara de este último refrán 😉 Habemos quienes de la semidiosa Amalia Rodríguez, hicimos pocas “paradas” y hoy nos quedamos al lado de Carminho 🥰

this is beautiful music, so emotive, even though I cannot understand the Portuguese language, the voice of Carminho is, to my ears, drenched in a mixture of emotions, mostly sad, and sung with passion straight from the heart. That, to me, is Fado, and the whole world should hear it ...

Carminho has this intense voice that I love, and her body language shows that it is from her heart she is singing. If I compare to Mariza, Carminho is way, way better!

Carminho vs Mariza - not comparable - Fado is a road with multiple parallel lanes, they simply "drive" in different ones.
