He said chemo alongside it was just as excruciating and he would do neither if he had a choice now. He also told me he was not told what they were going to do or given alternative choices. Another friend was given chemo till his insurance was exhausted and then he was sent to hospice !!!! He released himself from there because he wanted to die at home, them he lived another 3 months. He was 53! Over 300,000.00 people are left permanently disabled because of wrong misdiagnosis and following treatment by medical doctors every year!!!! Why are non of those in jail ? What about all the ones that die because of these uncaring doctors? Why don't they go to jail. You are all sickos with a twisted sense of benevolence only looking to further enrich yourselves and looking to milk them for insurance.

And what did the husband think would come of his wife doing that? Her life afterwards? And really, shooting him in a hospital!?

God be the Glory! The wife did what her husband asked her to do. Shame on the Judge for putting this lady through more PAIN.

If this is true, her husband was a selfish man. Poor woman will spend her last years in prison.

How she got a gun in the hospital???? Are you kidding me ? She put it in her purse and did just that, bring it in the hospital. Duh

This should be LEGAL! Forcing humans to suffer is not *right!* We say putting down sick pets is the humane thing to do, but let’s not do the same for actual humans.

If that's what they really decided I have a feeling it was very very hard on this woman to do that.

Euthanasia is the practice of ending the life of a patient to limit the patient’s suffering. The patient in question would typically be terminally ill or experiencing great pain and suffering. The word “euthanasia” itself comes from the Greek words “eu” (good) and “thanatos” (death). The idea is that instead of condemning someone to a slow, painful, or undignified death, euthanasia would allow the patient to experience a relatively “good death.”

I will say repeatedly my heart brakes for the woman . But I must also say firing a firearm in a hyper-oxygenated atmosphere like a hospital is not a good idea besides the projectile hot gas is released from the barrel . Few nightmares are greater then attempting to evacuate a burning hospital .

Hey Judge, let's make a deal: please take into account her situation and give her a reasonable bond. If you do that, we'll start a GoFundMe, raise her bail, and get her out. She's is NOT a threat to society, or (obviously) herself. She was simply trying to end her husband's suffering with dignity. We beg you to please show mercy towards this elderly woman and grant her a reasonable bond.
