Seizures can actually make a person act in a very angry way, even if it is totally out of their normal character. I’m a paramedic and in ten years I’ve never had a postictal patient wake up combative. Confused? Absolutely. Disoriented? 99% of the time. Generally the postictal phase lasts a good while (longest I’ve seen was 30mins) but recovery is gradual. People don’t just snap back to 100% faculties! I have had head injury patients become combative after being unconscious. Also certain strokes and once , rather memorably, a guy punched me square in the jaw after I shocked him when he arrested mid heart attack! He was incredibly apologetic as we handed him over to the PPCI unit!

This woman comes across as an entitled little witch who would scream and curse if someone looked at her sideways, so her whole story loses its verisimilitude. I've met some nasty nurses in the many times I've been in a hospital, ones who would deliberately try to inflict pain and then intimidate other staff into backing them up. Yelling and cursing never works. Projecting your voice while politely asking the nurse why she's deliberately causing you pain is a great way to embarrass them into sending someone else into the room.
