So let me get this straight. She bought used lingerie from a thrift store with a satin robe for around $3, had her legs waxed for $60, hair extensions with that (paid for the service charge and then they were falling out), free samples of perfume etc. That all came to $85??? If she went to a place like H&M, bought new lingerie for around $15-$30 then did the waxing herself at home and put extensions in at home, then got a couple of free samples then it would be way less money spent and more sanitary in the long run. Plus wiping your daughters face with a wipe you’ve basically cleaned your whole house with is so nasty and how much did all of those things cost to make those wipes? It’s got to be around $5, might as well buy baby wipes for $1-$3 and let that be that. So unhealthy for your poor child.

When I first started working I was about 16 or 17. I was paid $10 an hour and only worked four hours for the week before my boyfriend’s birthday. I wanted to look extra nice though so I bought a swimsuit at walmart for $13, waxed my legs and armpits myself with a wax warmer and wax kit I was gifted, bought a swimsuit coverup from Walmart for $10, and used free makeup samples I got from various stores. I also bought cute sandals from Burlington for $13 I spent $36, almost my whole paycheck from that week, but it was honestly worth it. It blows my mind how this woman spent $85 by putting more effort into being cheaper than I did. I did my own nails with nail polish I got for my 14th birthday too! And for hair volume, I brushed my hair with my head upside down, a trick my friends with thin and thick hair learned from me that works. It’s crazy how two people can spend a drastically different amount of money for a similar event (looking nice for your partner and resparking connection) while trying to be cheap

All jokes aside, she must have some relational trauma when it comes to buying new things. She may have had a parent who either did not feel comfortable in a shop, or felt unwelcome in that sphere. There are also people who get so thrilled by the idea of a deal they are blind to the fact that you can find the same thing new and for half the price she paid. I give her props though because I would not be confident enough to ask for a deal. I tried it once and a stall owner told me to F* off. I was poor and hungry and it made me hateful.

Reusing baby wipes, used weave, thrift store langerie, and trying to pay $7 for a $20 lip color... 😳 Take that $7 to the Dollar Tree only $1.25 now. Hit up the CLEARANCE sections at any store. Dillard's has bras marked down to $2.99 to $10. she's small so she should find her size. I'm so glad the manager refused that request. So not sanitary. That could've been a lawsuit for the salon and possible shut down. The reuse of baby wipes, wtf that's nasty. She didn't even mention bleach in the wipes. Wipes the baby's butt, rinse it out to wipe the table, not eating there 🤮 Buy your own weave an rewash/sanitize and reuse, and learn to put them in your self. Don't short cut the salon, that cost pays for the supplies, time and skills... Her husband, I don't think he'd be having her as snap in the used langerie
