Can I ask you why you married him in the first place? So many of these stories seem to be about extremely young people getting married after only knowing their spouses for a few months. And I’m saying this as a woman who married my high school sweetheart. The difference is I wasn’t about to marry him straight out of high school or college. We’ve been married now for 35 years and got married almost 10 years after we got together in high school. But I never understood the rush to get married other than appearances. So I don’t get this. Getting to know the person who you are potentially going to spend the rest of your life with makes more sense to me. One of the silliest things I ever read was how newly married couples had a rough time in their first year of marriage. I had no problem since my now husband and I had already lived together for two years and, earlier, when one of us was between residences, would crash at the other’s house. So we knew each other pretty darn well by the time we got married.

Poor Emmett, no one to tell his side of the story! He did not deserve to die because he cheated on his wife. Looks like Rob started the cheating and stayed alive. Candi was looking for an escape and found Emmett whom she likely seduced, being the older woman. Emmett the hardworking attorney who had likely got married too early, found a diversion in his very office, especially where he and Candi had shared interests. Candi appeared to him as the confident woman, and perhaps his wife was more naive, overworked with children and feeling the children would help hold the marriage together. Emmett was young and driven, the very qualities Candi admired but used against him later saying he was aggressive. How was Rob injured? Was it self inflicted or did Emmett also have a gun? Candi's biggest crime was trying to make Emmet look like the aggressor in the end in order to appease killer Rob who knew what he had set out to do that night. Bet he had their daughter spy on the mom. RIP Emmett, hope you are in a better place. (He was the only real victim here as everyone else has a chance to change their lives and learn from this horrible experience, but he did not.)

He had started to consistently put his mistress above his family meaning he was neglecting them for her. He was going home late, spending nights away, not spending the evenings and weekends with his kids, to the point the wife says the kids were asking if he still lived there. Whatever issue he had with the wife does not excuse him neglecting the kids. The night he was shot he basically left the family dinner at night to go get a BJ from her in some parking lot. That's shows love/possession/obssession..something more than just fun. I think he was planning on divorcing his wife for her; 2. He contacted the husband to let him know of the affair and to taunt him. He was jealous of the husband. They were clearly planning to divorce their spouses and Emmet was getting jealous of his mistress' husband. She probably lied to him that she wasn't having sex with her husband anymore, but I bet he suspected she still did and it drove him crazy. He got into a fight with her husband because he probably wanted to push her or him to divorce already. Clearly, they weren't going to and were just arguing at that point. The mistress was shrewed; she wanted to pick her best option and was probably still thinking about who it was. Or maybe it was just sex for her and the idiot ruined it by catching feelings and telling her husband. The video also mentions some emails her husband received about the affair.
