I've been to the Grand Canyon. I walked down to Six Mile Point & walked back, it's a rough path, but if you stay on the path, you don't really get near the edge where you just fall off. You need to really walk out further off the path to really be in danger of going over. Park's Rangers will tell you the same thing. These people were just stupid.

There are worse places to die... I mean at least you had a beautiful view and gave the family quite a story to tell. If you had to pick wasting away to death in some hospital or home vs this..I think this wins.

To be 70 yrs old, which means you had to be something right to get to that age, only to fall off a trail into the Grand Canyon? I don't get it. I would think just using some common sense would prevent you from falling off a cliff.

I guess that's something you can look forward to in your old age isn't it.

Wow that's sad. Maybe they should put in a lot more fences up.

Would be better to remove the existing fences also. Help stupid people on their way....

Block off all high fall areas. ..& start giving out big fines 2 people bieng reckless & stupid....
@BeholdenYeti3 жыл бұрын
Have you ever been? If you have then you'd know it is impossible to block off all high up areas considering it is a CANYON. Now the fines thing isn't a bad idea but people need to understand that there is not much more the park can do about people dying.

Sometimes you don't have to ask or see the nationality of deaths. You just need to here the cause of the death and you automatically know their race
@kristenvangemert13332 жыл бұрын
Should I assume your race by the way you spell? What a stupid comment.
