Why do people buy their 10 year old kids phones worth 100s of dollars? They'd lose their heads if they weren't attached. If my kid lost something, my first response would be, "where did you put it down and forget it?" not who stole it. And frankly, these phones are ubiquitous. No one wants her stupid kid's damn phone.

Everyone has a cellphone, and they’re lost or misplaced every day, and for her to think this man stole her son’s is ridiculous. Then no apology afterwards. Another indication of how screwed up the world is.

Mr. Ja'Shar Bryant, you did right. Sue her for everything she has and then some, destroy her world.
@PolaOpposite3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, it's difficult to sue for slander because slander is spoken word, plus you have to demonstrate that the words caused you losses. If someone accuses you of stealing, and there's no one else around, you have no damages. And if you record it while only the two of you are there, and disseminate the video, you've pretty much damaged yourself. In any event, it's not like libel, where it's in print. It sucks for him that she's an idiot and she accused him for her idiot son losing his phone, but he should have just left the scene. If she had attempted to stop him, that would have been her undoing, if she had filed a false police report, she'd end up in jail. But in the video she states that she asked if he had the phone. That neither a crime nor slander. A lawsuit is going nowhere.

@Puccini Fan His family and friends saw a video he posted. You can't claim you suffered damages due to a video that you circulated... that's how you get laughed out of court. And in the video he's doing most of the talking and she denies his claim. Plus damages have to be tangible. For example, he'd have to prove that he lost work or standing in the community. You can't sue people over hurt feelings. She was in the wrong, but in the end he can't sue her. It's a big fat Nothing Burger.

What makes someone feel soo entitled that they think they can just, order around anyone they come across? No one answers to you, no one has to do what you say, no one even owes you an explanation. They don't, I wouldn't explain myself to ANYONE that is going to walk up to me and demand it, act like I have to. Not going to happen, ever. I will literally die before that happens.
