I had polycystic ovarian syndrome, and was told it would be hard to conceive naturally. I was told to chart my cycles and was put on medication. We were told it could take a year or more before we could think about fertility treatments. 3 months later I was pregnant. Because I was charting my cycle the gynaecologist could tell exactly when the baby was conceived. After 3 negative tests I finally tested positive at 8 weeks pregnant. I was put on progesterone to help lessen the risk of miscarriage until I was 13 weeks. My pregnancy was high risk and eventful, and at 38 weeks, after a week on bed rest in hospital because of pre-eclampsia, I had my daughter via c section. She is now 22 and at university.

I didn’t know that I was pregnant with my now 3 year old son till I was about 4 months along. I was taking birth control pills and I also have epilepsy so I was taking my seizure meds with it. I was told afterwards that my seizure meds weakened my birth control pills.

I worked with a co worker that had a cryptic pregnancy. She had no idea she was pregnant. Her belly was flat and firm for 6 months, she didn't have any pregnancy symptoms & she was in her early 40's. One day she woke up with a big round belly, she went to the ER because she thought it was appendicitis. The doctors ended up doing an ultrasound and they revealed she is 6 minths pregnant. She showed up to work and showed us her round belly and she told us she doesn't have appendicitis, she's pregnant. We all were just as shocked as she was. Even though she didnt know she was pregnant for most of her pregnancy, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

LaSonia my sister was told from the age of 16 she couldn't have any children do to her appendix rupturing when she was little. Well let's just say after 4 mo driving Semis with her new husband (3rd one) she finally went to the Dr after being sick 3 mos they told congratulations your having a baby she kept telling them she couldn't have kids at the age of 37 she had to except the deal that she was going to have a baby. He was due in May but the Dr let her go 3 more wks then on June 13 a Fri my nephew was born but we almost lost both of them.

I have pcos I didn’t know I got pregnant I was bleeding for over a month and one night started to have really really painful cramps I’m use to painful cramps bcs of the pcos . But this one was different. I made an appointment with my gyn found out I was pregnant while on birth control. I unfortunately had a miscarriage that was the pain I felt. I was 5 weeks I’ve never cried so hard in my life …it’s been really hard trying to convince again I’m hopeful ❤

I find these funny. To be so out of touch with your body that you don’t know you are pregnant. So weird. I knew I was pregnant at 7 days. I was vomiting night and day until the baby was removed by C section at 371/2 weeks. I had bleeding gums and nosebleeds, swollen feet.. I was lighter at 37 1/2 weeks than at the start. “Old” at 40? Are you nuts? Menopause at 43? Without checking with a blood test? Self diagnosed? All age related? Give me strength.

I’ve seen a lady deliver a baby and you couldn’t tell she was pregnant at all. Completely flat stomach. I can never understand how they don’t feel the baby moving. Especially if You’ve already had a baby previously.

When a woman is pregnant the organs are moved and slightly shifted and sometimes when the organs shift it can block the nerves, so when the baby moves around, the unsuspecting pregnant woman can't feel the baby moving around in her womb & can't feel the baby kicking her.
