There’s nothing wrong with being frustrated. Imagine someone you love. You sacrifice your time, talents, career, and good years for. Then imagine that person get everything they wanted, and you haven’t earned a promotion in 20 years. I actually understand that frustration quite well. I’m autistic, and my siblings aren’t. They achieved everything they wanted. Me, I’m almost 30 and only got my bachelors last year. Sure I got married first, and had kids first, but they live with my parents due to health problems. I’ve worked really hard and it’s frustrating seeing my siblings getting everything they want making 50k+ a year and I’m left in the dust as a poor man making only a few dollars above minimum wage. Don’t get me wrong, attempting murder is abhorrent. But I understand the frustration. Honestly, I’d say she was so focused on her own career sh didn’t realize she sidelined her husband. He on the other hand should have gotten therapy.

Yes, because there would be a written record filed with the court. It’s like when you file a will with a lawyer… if that lawyer passes away before you do, that file will be taken over by another lawyer. If the law firm goes under, then another lawyer will pick up the cases. Agreements made now can still be enforced years in the future by a different lawyer. Although I suppose if the entire legal system collapses completely, everything would be invalid… but if that happened, the world would have bigger problems than a legal agreement not to oppose parole for a murderer made 25 years earlier.

Indeed not. One thing we men do appreciate (I stress the word) is that our ideas, goals, and ambitions are supported and that we feel the work we are doing is of value to us and our family. I had a relationship with someone who had no regard for my interests, my career, or my goals - she only cared about her own and be damned what happened to mine. That relationship collapsed because I didn’t feel valued or that what I wanted out of life mattered. Relationships are partnerships - do you need to make a man feel good about himself? No. But you should make him feel like who he is and what he is doing is of value. We men appreciate it when our partner is in our corner.
@CaliSaint Жыл бұрын
@ajc-ff5cm What did you do to support her? You say men don’t need women to make them feel good but then describe them needing to do just that. Why do you need a person who works in a different field then you to support you at your job? If you don’t feel loved as a person it’s different but your career is ENTIRELY separate from your relationship. Period.

Who wrote this plot? If the roles where reversed the wife would be called a gold digger. But there is supposed to be a victim who just because of being a successful women accepts being nearly crippled? And just wants to die, and is not just forgiving him, but feels bad towards him?

Of course she'd be a gold digger. Duh!

They caught him in possession of a stolen car, which belongs to a judge who was shot for it. Getting a lawyer wouldn't save him if he didn't cooperate.

In reality, who cares who makes what. As long as both can compromise,.respect as well as working with each other, it shouldn't really matter who has more money.

I'm searching for a particular Law & Order episode, does anyone know this episode (according to pieces of the plot I remember)? The body of the victim is discovered in a school (I think near the playground), the victim is a disowned son of a rich man who wants payback against his father in any way possible. A woman thought that the father of the victim was also her father and basically harassed the guy for answers without success, the victim thought it was his chance to get back at his father and started a scheme with her to blackmail money from the father. But it turns out that the woman's mother didn't know who her father was and when the woman was 6 or 7, the mother just didn't had the heart to tell her that the man she was pointing at in a magazine wasn't her father and it got WAY out of hand over the years. That's about all I can remember and I hope someone can tell me which episode it is because google is of no help.

Does anyone remember an episode where the parents of a murdered child both claimed the other did it. At the end, when they are both found not guilty, and are pretending to hate each other, the DA saw them squeeze each others hands in the elevator. I can’t recall when that was, can’t find it on KZbin.

In real life cases, a building contractor is always a suspect. There's unreported income, workers without papers, clients who don't pay up, bribes to building supers, inspectors, union reps, and worse.
