David Murga from Los Angeles attempted to commit murder for life insurance money on October 1, 2021. He had a friend call the police, falsely reporting that a suicidal man with a rifle was present, hoping that the responding officers would shoot and kill the target. On that day, David intentionally left the front door open to further his plan. Alongside this, he frequently used racist tactics to manipulate the situation and often expressed anti-Black sentiments, referring to Black women as "monkeys" and saying he wouldn’t hire them or accept help from them. He also frequently used the N-word.

Please, if you have a loved one in an abusive relationship, treat it like an addiction and have an intervention. Do not give second, third, and forth chances to someone who harms the person that you love. It is hard for people to get out from under the thumb of an abuser, but if they see they have a team of support, they will find more strength to walk away if they know they are not alone.

Just sad and it's frightening to keep hearing these types of stories. I remember when I was a kid my mom always watched those Lifetime movies about women getting abused/staying. But it was one movie (Tracy Thurman)that always stuck with me in addition to the abuse I heard/saw in my own family/neighborhood. Back then it was still the same thing as today with women dealing with abuse but many stayed/or went right back especially if they were married/or had kids. But the biggest difference is these unstable creatures are unaliving women more nowadays. I did vow to myself at age 6 when I saw my aunt threatening to kill herself because of a man, that I will remain single before I stay with an unstable creature for months/or years/produce kids in the toxic mess. I get looked down upon because I'm single but I'm like most people are in unhappy/toxic relationships/or marriages so who are they to judge me. I don't fear what others say nor being alone like they do. Many are afraid to be alone/or pay bills by themselves so that's why they stay when they can get out. Many of us have family members/friends that can safely get out in the very beginning but stay/or go right back despite our pleas not to. Unfortunately, they are responsible for their decisions just like their mates are responsible for their own decisions. We can't make people do anything. I've had to distance myself from family members/or friends who abuse/or put up with abuse because they have a potential to threaten my life as well. These unstable creatures are taking out friends/family members too. People need to teach themselves/kids to not be abusive and not to put up with abusive people.
