It's not. They train police dogs in German. It's so "commands" are only said in German. It makes it less confusing for the dog if everyone is shouting all sorts of commands directed at a suspect. If you taught the dog using Spanish. It would be just as effective.

My mom rescued a crazy pit mix even though I absolutely disapproved and knew I would be the one to deal with him mostly. Well, I love him to bits still, but I'm the only one in the house he hasn't bitten and listens to. Some people really just love dogs but don't actually want to care for them/raise them. Well, hopefully they learn their lesson at least and the dog doesn't have to suffer the consequences of their training.

We had two Rottweiler puppies that my dad named Sara and Katie. They were good dogs. We had no issues with them. Some breeds get a bad rap, but just treat your dogs well. They are far less likely to do something harmful if you care about them. They also need proper training as well. Show you dogs you are worth their respect as well.

We saved a dog from deathrow, for biting a post man, we had it chained up, my husband would bring his friends to see the dog and dare them to go close to the dog and the dog would bite them. Every day I would feed the dog and sing to it, one day the dog was tangled up in his chain so I crawled into his kennel and unravelled the chain, he did not bite me, after that I let him off the chain and he was fine, he was an Australian blue heeler, note I was frightened but I felt sorry for the dog.

The worst decision is to get a dachshund if you don't like barking, digging and stubborn. The puppy stage is awful.

German shepherds are actually pretty derpy tbh. I worked with a lot of them and low-key they can be neurotic crybabies lol. You see them as police dogs and think they have this "professional" look meanwhile I knew a gsd who would pee standing normally so he could lick the pee off his paws. I'm pretty sure be does it on purpose because be tries to lick pee before we mop it up. At a daycare I used to work at, we had a pug puppy who had one-sided beef with a german shepherd puppy. Most dogs she tried to square up against were at least 5x her size and most of the time they would just ignore her lmao. One time she tried fighting a dog's tail that was wagging in her face- the tail, not the dog. The dog was chill.

😂 my sister's German shepherd was a cuddle bug. He would take naps with me all the time and take up my whole bed.
@Vincisomething Жыл бұрын
@@BakeXlove11 the same one I mentioned also acted like he was part of staff when we would discipline other dogs. Like he thought he worked there and would try to discipline dogs when we did 🤣. He's chill with most dogs and people, I saw him practically making out with a chihuahua before. There was one we only had for a little while because daycare stressed him out to the point that he'd jump high enough to climb up the wall as an attempt to escape.

my mom has a thing for adopting big heavy dogs who want to tear any other living animal to shreds. my parents recently adopted this pure bred pit bull from a few weeks old. and when i tell u they babied tf out of this dog they treated him like a son. carried him around like a baby and spoke to him as one. my mom calls him an actual boy. like its disturbing lol but yet she neglects her actual sons its gross af. anyway last month my dad was serving him dinner and they usually train their dogs to listen to their voice before they can eat from their food bowl. my dad placed the bowl down and he said wait as usual but the mf bit tf out of my dads hand and he would not let go until my dad had to pry his jaw off of him and yeeted him across the dining room. my dad got stitches and my mom refused to put the dog down despite the rest of my siblings being terrified of the dog's switch flipping again. so yeah lol well the pit is not even 6 months old.

I got bit by a dog and it was by a Coton De Tulear. I was waiting for the elevator in my building when a neighbor who has complained numerous times to the landlord about other tenants having big dogs in the building yet her dog is the one going around biting people and I know this because her dog also bit someone else in the building 😒. She even complained about my dog because it barked at hers because her dog started barking first. Oooh but when her dog bit me she went 🤐🤐👻. Im assuming she eventually moved out because It’s been almost a year since I’ve seen her when I walk my dog

Dogs show aggression mostly as a reaction to fear, anxiety, and/or stress (FAS). When dogs are repetitively put in high FAS situations and their signs of uncomfortably go ignored by their handler, they become reactive to these stressors. If dogs are punished for their reactivity, they will develop learned helplessness, meaning they are more likely to lash out without notice. As a side note, any dog can and will bite when under the right circumstances. Rottweilers, in particular, are active and working dogs, so they require much physical and mental stimulation. If any dog is not receiving the physical and mental activity they need, extra energy will be redirected as negative behavior such as chewing and increased reactivity. They may also become hyperactive or withdrawn. Most people get dogs and do not train them and don't fulfill their dogs' needs, either because they are ignorant or uneducated. And training is not something that is just needed for puppies or dogs with known behavioral issues, but needs to be done on a daily and concistant basis. There are no bad dogs, just bad owners.

If you don't want to give time, money or patience to handle a dog... don't get a breed that requires all those things... Not only is it dangerous for you and for others around you, but it's not fair to the dog. Do your research before getting a dog just for Instagram likes.

I've had pitbulls and never had issues or worried about anyone getting bit. I helped raise a litter of pitbulls, the mama and the dad. They weren't my dogs, but I stayed with them for the first couple months of their birth. It was probably one of the best things to have a bunch of pitbull puppies jumping all over you. I will say though, I have met some people that need to train their pits a little bit better when it comes to walking or just listening, not chewing up stuff, but that comes with most dogs. Pitbulls are just strong, but they're sweet as heck. The most damage ever done to me by a pit was by their tail wagging lol

Or they could have been bred improperly. When it comes to pure bred dogs they can get problems with aggression when they get back bred.
@watwudscoobydoo1770 Жыл бұрын
It’s doesn’t require abuse. It can also be she wasn’t dominate enough for big dogs. I’ve seen it were ladies will let the dogs sleep in the bed, lye on top of them on the couch, not discipline them when they do something wrong. Eventually the dogs think they are the dominate one and they can discipline the human.
@jimbokilo Жыл бұрын
@@watwudscoobydoo1770 you arent wrong about that, but attacking their owner, unheared of for Rotties without severe abuse or deliberate aggression training. Ive tried training women who get big dogs they need to be strong leaders and trainers, but generally its little dogs who have natural aggression like that. Women want the dog, but not the responsibility. Been hard enough to get my partner to dicipline and train her 5 month old Lab to stop being a shit lol.
