When I was raising my children, they were assigned chores (cleaning house, yard work, laundry, etc) and I spent special time with each one in the kitchen. All of them, even my son, know how to cook. Most people feel lonely, very lonely. So lonely that they try anything that promises to sooth them. I’ve felt like no one knew me my entire life. When I got married, my wife was the closer to me than any other person throughout my entire life. That’s part of the beauty in marriage. It allows you to know someone else as well as to be know by them. To lose, or to diminish your ability to pair-bond seems like the quickest way to solidify your loneliness for life.

It happened to me this month, November, 13 / 2022. A woman I was keen on WAY back in high-school that gave me no chance now phoned me. I legitimately just started laughing, she thought I was nothing. Now that I've gone through university, got a very lucrative career in natural gas and oil and just put down a down payment on a house (four bedroom 2.5 bath), she decided to try and worm her way in. The amount of disrespect I felt was insurmountable. All they care about is what you have to offer. I blocked her on everything. I cam really see things changing in 15 years. Personally I love being a stay at home Mom/Wife. I basically do anything involved with the kids and inside the home. My husband bring money home, works on the cars, his man cave (garage/shop), fixes anything, if I need him to do something like "I need you to put the shelves up in the boys room and switch the bulbs in the rooms tonight" he does it. NEVER EVER complains. My favorite thing about him is his work-ethic. I watched him out the kitchen window this weekend pouring concrete and doing it all the build me a new walkway from 6am to 6pm until I had dinner ready. Yea, my job is way easier. Why do women want independence and be "equal" but want to also wear the pants but somehow not pay anything. Make it make sense.
