@@GeekWithMeat The easiest way to realise this is by looking at ourselves. Most of us have made decisions or gone done paths that our parents didn't necessarily have "planned" for us. And we could've had great parents but we spend a lot of time at school, with friends, seeing other influences outside the home and some core values or principles that our parents held we may still keep but over time we begin to develop our own identity and we can't necessarily blame that on our parents. Now when I see the younger generation doing certain things I have to understand the blame can't solely be put on the parents, they have even more influences out there than I did when I grew up and they have to learn actions have consequences the same we all did. The only thing I see that is different is that a lot of these kids will learn that lesson when it's too late. They have too many influences which makes it tougher for the wise ones around them to set them straight or offer a real perspective for them to really take in.
