No...they often SAY they are "going to be". There is no way they are going to get licensed. Period. She may have an "acceptance letter". That means nothing. LPN school is min a year. Usually longer. I have been an RN for 20 years. Whatever people say in court means nothing. RNs lose their license over stuff like this because the liability in immense. No way she will get licensed. None. We are tightly monitored compared to most careers with no license.

She just started it and ended it at the end of this hearing, ha. She will have to report the conviction to the school, but, when she doesn't, she won't be able to sit for licensure. I swear attorneys at times tell their clients to mention studying medicine because any conviction ruins any medical based career.

Been an rn 13 years, we are all very close and talk about everything. I've never met one with a felony record. We don't commit crimes, we have way too much to lose. Why is a judge asking about case law or state law? Why is he calling case law or state law stupid? It’s like he doesn’t know the laws and if he disagrees with them he’ll put his personal opinion because he’s much more all knowing but at the same time doesn’t know case law.
