It's WI. Even though code blue cam is pretty much exclusively WI, I still see these comments. There are no bail bondsmen. You must pay the full cash bond amount directly to the state. Yes, she or someone else paid $5,000 CASH to get her out. But, given the fact that she was already on bail for stealing cars, is a known addict, has almost certainly skipped bail several times before, and has no problem leading police on high speed chases.... $5,000 is insanely low. Honestly I don't think people that lead police on high speed chases should be eligible for bond at all. Why on Earth would anyone expect someone like that to show up for court?

First of all, if you can yell or scream I can't breath, then you are, in fact breathing. Secondly, if you have a "puffer" then you know you have asthma and probably shouldn't be trying to outrun the law. And lastly, lady you are WAY too old to be trying to run from police, leave that shit for the young ones. You got caught fair and square, take your punishment like a woman!

"I can't breathe!" "If you can talk, you can breathe." Thank you! I swear this is the first time I've seen a cop actually say that when someone claims that they cannot breathe.

@@Suddenlycalm While that is technically true, she kept shouting it and clearly breathing. Also George Floyd wasn't unable to breathe because he was lying on his stomache, but because a cop did that to him. Completely different scenario.

I have noticed a lot of cops backing off of that phrase because they were telling George Floyd that when he first started saying "I can't breathe." I am fairly certain they said that, "If you're talking, you're breathing" cause I remember thinking.. "Holy shit" Then again, this was before the cop increased and maintained the pressure on his neck.

Judges know what they're doing. The jails are just too overcrowded and most people are now criminals in some form. The remaining 35% of law biding folks simply can not afford to house them anymore.

i don't think this was related to the george floyd incident in any way. she has asthma and requested for her inhaler several times, a few of those times being while she was being placed into custody. i believe she was just having an asthma attack likely caused by all the drugs, high adrenaline and running.
