I dunno about the current makeup stipling for the hair. Anything other than a distant photo is going to show it to be grease paint. I think if I wanted to look more masculine, I'd stop hiding my pores and blemishes, and kind of maybe run some darker makeup and REALLY rub it into the textured parts of my face. Guys always look more "rough" in every aspect and that'd probably help more than a fake five o'clock.
