Last year I was standing on an over pass rail road tracks bridge determined to finish it right there and for some reason my daughter’s image came to my mind and I called it quit, then I discovered these videos and they gave me lots of reasons to fight and go on with my life, definitely there are persons that are having a tougher lives than mine and yet they’re happy and willing to live not matter what.

@@flyme2009 I think American accents can be a bit stronger :) It all depends who she’s been around. If her children were born & raised in Idaho as well as working there, she’ll have adapted her accent naturally. Whereas if you move with family, you often keep the british twang! My brother moved to San Diego from the U.K. 5 yrs ago & still very much sounds british. I’m not sure how I’ll feel if it vanishes lol! But he’s in his 40’s so he may end up keeping it. I love accents :)

I live alone myself, and have outlived everyone in my extended family. I will be 74 next January, but still in reasonably good health. I moved from NW Indiana, just a few blocks from Southside Chicago because it was becoming far too dangerous for an old man living alone. I now live in the deep forest in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas in a lovely and modern "Mother-in-Law Cottage" on the property of a very generous and kind landlady who recently bought the large mansion just up the hill from me and agreed to rent this little gem of a cottage to me. In 1998 I lost my mother to dementia, and in 1999 I lost my step-mother, my father, and last of all my only brother to hepatic cancer. Since 1999 I had given up celebrating Christmas altogether. Having just discovered this wonderful series of "Secret Santa" episodes, this year (2022) I again have joy in my heart and will be celebrating Christmas once more. I too wish Arkansas had a familar "Secret Santa" program. .Merry Christmas, everyone!

May East Idaho news be an example to others that are able to help those that are in true need. I have five children two are autistic yet our Help of Nevada, Salvation Army, 211… Are out of resources. Mind you I reached out to them end of November early December. Yet as of today they were still asking for donations. We have always donated. Now that we are in need of help, there are no more resources available. God bless!!

About the same time this video was released I was with my family enjoying our Christmas Eve dinner. My Dad (90 yrs old) played Secret Santa this year (we had all agreed on no presents as it’s been a tough year for everybody). Dad decided that we all needed something special to cheer us up but the gifts were both shocking and unbelievable. My brother and I were both given a new car 🚙 (I’d been borrowing a car for a while now) and the rest of the families gifts were just as astounding. Needless to say I have been in tears for about 3 hrs and still can’t believe it! Talk about a shock to the system.
