Cabela's worker with sick husband sobs when surprised with gift from a Secret Santa

Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!
The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many people as he can.
We will be surprising deserving people and families every day from now until Christmas with gifts unique to their circumstances.
Hilary and Rob Witt have been married for 25 years and have two sons. Around ten years ago, Rob started having health problems. It has continued to deteriorate and nobody can figure out what's wrong with him.
Rob has been tested for strokes, ALS, brain tumors - you name it. He is now housebound and cannot walk or do anything without assistance. His speech is slurred and he falls a lot. The last decade has consisted of hundreds of doctor appointments, including the Mayo Clinic, and still no hard diagnosis.
Hilary has been the sole breadwinner of the family working at Cabela's. His illness has been hard financially and emotionally. Because there is no diagnosis, Hilary cannot get the help that Rob needs. He cannot be left alone and the assistance she receives only allows someone to come in twice a week for one hour at a time to help get Rob lunch and take him to the bathroom.
Rob is a big guy at 6'3 and needs trained professionals to be able to come in and help but Hilary is doing it herself. She never asks for help and keeps her head up through it all.
Secret Santa was impressed with the Witts story and asked the East Idaho News elves to take her a special gift at work. Watch the video above to see what happened!

I so agree. As a caregiver for my grandparents and then my father for 20 years, any help like this would of been a God send. My father had severe dementia and Parkinson's disease. He needed help with everything for 10 years. I lost him almost 3 years ago but would do it all over again if given the chance.

I am currently 66 years old . When i was 5 years old my dad had a stoke and we had no food to eat . My mom not sure why was denied social services assistance . Guess it was different then I know my mom and dad had just bought a house. So for weeks all we had was bread and water then one day my aunt and uncle came by with a car full of groceries . That moment i will never forget . To the Secret Santa I thank you for assisting so many people .

It sounds to me like the poor man has heavy metal toxicity, which is one of the things that help contribute to Lyme disease. My dad was considerably older than my mom and in his lifetime, he went through 5 strokes and 3 heart attacks. The last stroke paralyzed him on his left side and his last heart attack was what caused him to pass. My brother-in-law broke his neck several years back. My sister works full time and is his primary care giver. Her biggest struggle is the physical and emotional wear on herself. They are in a constant struggle to get quality in-home care to assist her with his care and to give her a “break” and allow her to be his wife. I cried when Nate was in the parking lot telling us about the gift, already knowing how much it will impact this lovely woman and her entire family.

I've had a mysterious neurological disorder since 2009 and I've had all the tests and many other things have been found but not the tremors, spasms and pain, numbness, no feeling, ultra sensitivity, walking on golf balls, walking on glass and pinching in both feet and I hardly feel anything in my toes. But we fight just as much as we did yesterday, to see the sunrise today in the hope and belief that tomorrow someone is going to say that they have found what is happening to me. Secret santa you are these peoples angel. All these people that you help really needed the help and I'm so greatful you were there for them. I wish we had something like that here. I live in senior independent living in Mount Pocono PA. Three of us lost our dogs and two of us a day apart. Not having my baby has been beyond devastating. She was all I had, she helped people in here just by them seeing her everyday when the tenants found out she was gone they came crying at my door. She had her picture taken more than any dog I ever had. I dressed her. They watched to see what she'd have on from day to day. She was a star. She was a rescued female Airedale. I may have rescued her but she rescued me. I haven't been able to get another Airedale. She was one of a kind. They daycare kids gave her the best birthday present for her 14th birthday. Unbeknownst to me that I'd have to put her down 3 months later. I'm lost without her . I have had no contact with a dog except one time in Walmart this man had a 1yr old poodle. I asked if I could pet him and he said yes that was the highlight of my whole day. I can't thank that man enough for what he did for me that day. My anxiety has increased, I'm dealing with depression, loneliness, and here comes covid-19 isolation. That was a bad year, my other dog passed away a few months before my Nelly, my sons father passed away a week after my dog and last year I lost my best friend to cancer . Having a dog again would give me purpose, something to take care of, something to love and would love me back and give me joy and bring joy to the people in my building again. So what you give these people you help is so wonderful. What I need seems so small and the people in my building. We have nothing here and can't with covid-19. A dog would make all the difference.
